We used this as an overnight stop on a trip north through Utah, the facility was very nice with a decent restaurant on site. The dog space outside was snow covered (as was Salt Lake City) but it is a decent amount of room.
The staff how to make it very smooth and easy process. They were professional and efficient and the room was very clean and quiet In a wonderful area outside with grass for our dog to play ball before we got back in the car.
Our stay at the Holiday Inn was great, but the only access to the room included an elevator ride. It was not a problem for my dog but it could be a deal-breaker for other pet owners.
Not many complaints for our stay, we stayed just one night- the front desk was friendly and the on site restaurant was awesome! Had both dinner and breakfast and both mine and my Hubby’s were great. Room was clean, updated and spacious (double queen). Pet area is grassy and out of the way on the left side of the hotel, but there are no ground floor rooms- nor other exits so I had to go through the lobby every time for potty time, which is less than convenient at midnight in my pjs so I deducted a bone for that. I always ask for near elevator or exit- and we were in the middle of the floor, but it was busy and I called last minute so- not their issue. I also deducted a bone because there were unsupervised children coming out of the pool dripping wet (the floors in elevator and lobby was soaking wet and slippery) and then they were RUNNING and shrieking throughout our hall and the one on the next level up until about 1am. My dogs didn’t like that at all! I told the front desk in the morning that someone may fall and she shrugged and said it was just the kids coming from the pool.... so I’m sure it’s fairly quiet most of the time, but not for our stay.
Great hotel for pet and travelers. We stayed here two nights and enjoyed their service, quietness, comfort and cleanliness. It's only about 15 mins from downtown and their breakfast was great.
