I get charging more because of location, but more than double for a dated hotel is a terrible value. Better options in Springdale and even better a short drive away.

We were greeted in the room with cookies for both human and dog. There are lots of places to walk your dog all around the property with beautiful views of the mountain all around.

Amazing views, updated and clean rooms at this location, with a trail along the river that the dogs loved. The breakfast was great- we loved the breakfast sandwiches! Definitely the nicest Holiday Inn Express ever!

This hotel is in a great location with beautiful views of the mountains. It is clean as a whistle and the staff were friendly and accommodating. There was a nice pool and excellent restaurants just steps away. There was plenty of outside area for our dog and a dog park about 1/2 mile down the road. The only thing I wish was that the rooms had balconies to sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous view!

We’ve been on a road trip for 2 weeks, bouncing btwn dog friendly hotels and camping all over the country. And I have to say... this was the BEST lodging we have experienced in a long time!!! I wasn’t sure what to expect being a Holiday In Express... but let’s just say when we woke up our first morning there I called the front desk and extended our stay one more night.
The staff was awesome and accommodating. Beds 5stars. Seriously the best sleep I’ve had in years!!!!! Free breakfast during covid were Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and more (this was a nice treat as most places just offer pastries & cereal during covid)
The pool!!!!! Gorgeous views, and dog friendly on the patio. (No swimming for them but still! Not many places you can hang poolside with your pup!)
The restaurant across the street was so so good. And coming from San Francisco and being slightly food snobby... wow!! The set up was beautiful too.I mean it’s hard to go wrong in Zion BUT I would come back just to have a relaxing stay at this spot even if it were in the middle of no where ❤️

Clean! Hospitable! 1st floor! PLENTY of paths to walk and REAL green grass to play and do “business” on. EVERYONE respected cleaning up after their own pets (something unfortunately not observed at some locations on our travels) so it was nice to even have our sweet Maisy run and play on the grass. BONUS?? Pool area has a grassy area!!! Sign says “no pets or glass” but we took a risk and actually ASKED mgmt at front desk if our pet COULD go in pool area (due to grass) and they said YES!!! Just not in pool!!!!
Soooooo after a wonderful day at Zion ... we came back to pool area .... put our loungers and umbrella on grassy area .... and while kids swam we relaxed in shade with our pup on grass ... got a little hot and I took our pup under the outdoor shower for a cool off :-) it was just perfect. I was so pleased with my stay. There are great grass areas for quick walks, as well as a bike path that leads behind the hotel which was perfect for early morning walks. The entire area is very walkable with shops and restaurants. We were given a room on the first floor close to a side entrance. The hotel offers balcony areas accessible to all guests with rocking chairs, which pup and I utilized (pool is not pet friendly, of course.) They do not allow dogs to be left unattended in the room. I walked the Pa’rus Trail in Zion which is pet friendly, otherwise, the Doggy Dude Ranch is right down the road.

Stayed two nights at this gorgeous facility. Huge room, groomed lawn for our dog. Employees are beyond nice well trained in customer service. Stunning views in every direction, good restaurant across the road, Zion free shuttle just steps away. Fire pit, swimming pool, hot tub, huge elevated deck. This place is top-notch in every way
