    Candlewood Suites Richmond West End Short Pump

    Candlewood Suites Richmond West End Short Pump welcomes two pets up to 60 lbs for an additional fee of $35 per pet for stays of up to six nights, and $50 per pet for stays of seven nights or more. Larger pets may be permitted with prior hotel approval. Both dogs and cats are allowed. Well-behaved pets may be left unattended in rooms, but a cell phone number must be left at the front desk. Housekeeping will enter rooms with crated pets. There is a grassy area with a waste station for pet relief at the back of the property.

      Great location, large room

      It was clean with lots of amenities. Deducted one star because the room stank of strong disinfectant.

      Great room & location!

      This hotel was in a perfect area relative to our trip to Richmond, and convenient to tons of shopping/ food. The room was an extended stay room and very nice w/ even a full size fridge. The room was clean & addressing the elephant in the room.. yes, the hotel was making efforts to keep guests safe relative to covid19. The guests we encountered, only about 50% making effort but you learn to deal 🙄😷.
      The staff was great & very helpful. We did use the gym which was stocked w/ sanitizing supplies, & the washers/ dryers were right next to it. Except for one adjacent neighbor, the door slammer, it was peaceful. (There's always one in the bunch lol)
      But the most important thing was of course the pet friendly status! There was NO evidence of previous pet guests either in the room or throughout the halls we used. Awesome.
