The Sonesta was so nice! I wasn’t expecting the room to look as nice as it did and include everything it had. The workers were all friendly and understanding when my pup barked at them from fear. It was a very nice experience.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice dog walk area behind the hotel. The hotel is on a quiet tree lined street with a sidewalk so longer walks with the dog were easy. The one bedroom suite was lovely and clean. Chris, at the front desk, made sure our stay got off to a good start. This is where we'll stay the next time we visit Newport News with our dog.

The placed has changed to a Sonesta, but they honored our reservation and our rate. Nice ground-floor room with easy access outside, tons of grass and even a big pond in back. Our girls enjoyed it.

Nice dog walking area behind hotel with pond. Nice staff. This property is in a business park, tree-lined streets, but hotel is a bit shaky. No ice machines, coffee or other amenities, and just towels and soap in room. A bit of the cheaper hotel feel - like it was once a better property. Very courteous staff but have found better properties on BringFido.

Comfortable suites with a dedicated dog walk area in the back of the hotel next to a pond. Across the street there's also a nice shaded trail next to a golf course. Dog biscuits were also available at the front, and a doggy wast station with bags. Great accommodations w/a pet!

Everything was great. But, One issue was we needed to extend our rate an were unable to do that at the Fido rate. Other then that everything else was great.

Great place to stay if you like privacy for you and your pupper! I stayed for 5 days and it was perfect. Plenty of areas to walk your dog and very dog friendly!
