It was extremely busy at this hotel when we were there. There was a large sports team staying and they were not quiet. That made our dog a bit anxious. He wouldn't eat and laid by the door most of the evening. This isn't normal for him. He's a really good traveler. The room above us sounded like they were playing sports in their room all evening. Had to call at 11:30 to complain. They quieted down but were back at it at 8:00 am sharp. Front desk wasn't super welcoming and I couldn't tell if it was the annoyance with all the people or if they just didn't like their jobs. I'm not sure they ever looked me in the eye because there were so many other distractions. I probably wouldn't stay there again.

The staff at the front desk were wonderful and the facility was overall clean. The location is less than stellar with lots of construction on the block for the past year and foreseeable future. Unfortunately, there were no comfortable places to walk my dog during our stay without getting in the car and driving somewhere else. Same goes for food; no options in the immediate vicinity apart from a new coffee place very conveniently located in the parking lot (but free hot breakfast was included so that wasn't necessary). I wanted to get dinner somewhere nearby but had to drive quite a ways to find any restaurants. Our room was very nice but the shower did smell bad, presumably from the drain. This was my second stay here and I would go back for the price and comfortability but I wouldn't give a perfect score based on the location.

This hotel was great for my dog and I. Lots of green space to walk your dog. You can actually walk around the whole perimeter of the hotel and go in and out multiple doors. Dog bag and garbage cans all around the perimeter as well. The only spot dogs were not allowed was the food areas but there are lots of spaces in the lobby to sit and hang out and play games. They have two patios - one at the front door and the other off the pool area. We came in and out the pool area to use this patio and there were no issues with this.
The first night we stayed the hotel was full with hockey teams. You could hear kids running in the halls but the second night they were gone and it was much quieter. We were able to set the fan to ‘on’ on the AC unit to drown out the noise outside our room. I wasn’t a huge fan of the beds but I’m also pretty picky. Free bottled water in lobby was a nice perk also! Overall, I would stay here again. Also there is a restaurant just down the street (by car) called First Watch that has a dog friendly patio.
