We were looking for a place for an easy in and out during a long driving trip that passed through Lynchburg. This was perfect for us and our standard poodle.

I waited 15 min and had to call BringFido customer service to get someone to come to the front desk to check in. The hallways smelled strongly of marijuana! The room was fine, and clean.

Only issue is we were told can't leave the dog in our room by itself. No other place told us that. Hard to go out to eat especially if have to take the dog or one person at a time goes to eat.????

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we witnessed multiple activities in the back parking lot that were very suspicious in nature which made us feel very unsafe entering and exiting the building. The floors in our room did not have the appearance of being vacuumed or mopped and dirty linen had been left in the bathroom. The floors were so dirty that your feet turned black if you walked on the carpet without socks or shoes. The mirrored closet door was broken giving us only a very small opening in which to slide our clothes through in order to hang them up. There was not a designated dog walking space and the grassy areas were extremely small and next to the highway. Very disappointed

We booked a king room but all they had left when we checked in that were dog friendly were queens. The room and proximity to grass for our dog were good.

My dog and I stayed for one night and found the hotel very accommodating. I had asked for 1st floor, but initially was assigned to the 4th floor. (My dog doesn't do elevators well.) The gentleman at the desk changed it for me to the first floor. Access to the grounds was good. Hotel staff were very friendly, and the breakfast buffet and coffee available all day were nice. We enjoyed our short stay and would rebook if passing by again. Thank you.

The room was comfortable and nicely updated. The free breakfast was nice. There is a grassy area outside to walk the dogs with a bin and poop bags.

We’ve stayed here a few times. The beds are very comfortable. Nice that they have not just a waffle maker but also a pancake making machine at the included breakfast buffet. I’ve never seen one of those anywhere else.

The bath tub looked as if it wasn't cleaned and the same with the commode. I didn't even take a shower because of it. The staff was great but no excuse for the bathroom not being cleaned. I do give them kudos for hiring a person with a disability.

Always happy to have a hotel that is big dog friendly. Dog area a bit small but it worked for the overnight.

The first room we got smelled like smoke and the toilets were clearly not cleaned. The second room we got, I immediately opened the door and there was a terrible fish odor. They finally upgraded us to a suite; it still looked like the bathrooms weren’t clean, but we were too tired of changing, so we used our own Lysol wipes to do the job. The receptionist was very accommodating but I would never stay again.

Great place to stay with your pet when visiting Lynchburg. Check in was a breeze and rooms were excellent. Our dog felt very comfortable during our stay.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the beginning of December. Very reasonably priced considering that we brought our dog and that there was a decent breakfast that was included in the price. Convenient to the mall, other stores and so close to our family. I would give this five bones, but the woman at the front desk did not know what she was doing and she forgot to tell us several things we needed to know. You can't really judge a hotel based on one person but there was one other minor issue but truly isn't worth mentioning. We plan on staying here every time we go to Virginia to visit our family. We stayed here a couple of years ago and the front desk gentleman at that time made our stay worthwhile. Maybe La Quinta would consider putting in a bar one day??? The bowling alley is right behind the hotel also. Very nice and clean hotel.
