Decent hotel, but dated for a $204 room price. Should be~$120. There were no towels in our room upon arrival. I went down to ask about them and another guest was carrying towels from the front desk to his room. At checkout, the girl at the desk, who was much friendlier than they Individual who checked us in, told me the fee was not there because we prepaid through Expedia (we actually booked through BringFido). She let it go.

It was as good as you can expect from La Quinta. My only problem was that there was a strong urine odor in the hallway of the fifth floor where we stayed. The hallway is carpeted and perhaps they should use tiles which are easier to clean and do not retain odors. This hotel is close to many eating establishments and a Fresh Market.

Conveniently located right off the highway. Reasonably clean, but there was a lot of noise overnight from other guests and their pets during my stay. Note that dog-friendly rooms are on the top floors.

The hotel is close to shopping and food so the location was perfect. The one and only complaint I have is that pets are on the upper floors. Dogs should be on lower floors so they can be taken outside easier with less chances for accidents. Our dog was afraid of the elevator the first time then she started getting used to it.

Safe area! Mulligan approved, super clean, awesome kind people and yummy breakfast. Headed up 95 from Florida to New Hampshire and when we arrived at 3am our room was ready and very comfortable!

We like to have our pet when we visit family near Richmond and so we stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites Richmond Chesterfield. Simple accommodation and that's just what we wanted. Not noisy, a good self serve breakfast. I wished the lighting for entrance off Huegonot Rd. was brighter (next to the Hooters sign.) Nearby restaurants a plus.

We’re traveling back home to Florida always love La Quinta Inns. We booked it online. When we arrived. at 6 pm we had to pay $100 deposit after I just paid $125.01 online. Never has anyone asked for a deposit at La Quinta before! One of the beds looked like it was already slept in, sheets were old, worn out bad & the pillows were crunchy. Replace sheets & pillows, things wear out! The sink was clogged & a big piece of soap was down in bathtub drain stuck so, if I could see it, I’m pretty sure housekeeper did also. Plus there was no soap, shampoo, or conditioner (they were waiting for the shipment). Go buy some til u get some in! The A/C was so loud .. I turned it off bout 3 am & I could hear the one next door room like it was in our room! Will still stay at La Quinta but never that one again not in Chesterfield. You gotta b a little picky & this one failed completely!! Plus I picked up phone & cord fell out wasn’t even working at all. Good parking and easy access to hotel! That’s the only thing that was good.

Was struggling to find a place on 95 to crash overnight with my big furbaby between NC and PA and not spend a fortune or worry about bed bugs. A little off the main route but well worth it! Very clean and quiet. Plenty of strips of grass to walk the pooch. In the morning, a decent breakfast where Max, my Great Dane, recommends the pancakes!

The room was in need of renovation Also the room wasn’t very clean. Granted I did stay there on a fri and sat nite but the hallways were loud with people yelling after midnight. I would not recommend.

Third time there in last 18 months or so. Cleanliness has degraded over time. Pet allowed room had smell of cigarettes. Believe it is vent allowing smells to travel. Room, especially bath, not the cleanest. Had to ask for towels. Understand staffing re: COVID, but rooms need a bit more TLC.

The staff was friendly but not very motivated. The room was ok, dust on furniture and kinda stuffy, carpet definitely had some strong musk. All dog rooms are carpeted just FYI, not a great idea. Couldn't get extra coffee for room. Left room at 9:30 am and came back around 3 to no room service. Overall it wasn't bad just not one of the better hotels I've been to. I'm guessing management needs some motivation too.
