I Want To Go Back!!!
I had some medical procedures that would take an entire day.
I do not drive in the city, because I have bad depth perception, so my husband drove me in to Richmond, and wherever my husband and I go, our not-so-little Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix Biscuit goes as well. That limited my options severely. I also needed a place that provided shuttle service to the hospital so that my husband could relax and only worry about Biscuit. This place fit the bill, even with the bill (you know the one that you pay at check-out). We stayed in (I believe) a grand premier king room, and it was fantastic! The mattress was luxuriously soft, Mama Bear would approve (from Goldilocks and the three bears). We were the first guests to sleep in this particular room since it was renovated! I felt so spoiled! The first night that we spent (we had 2 nights there), the air conditioning system was not working. When I called the following morning, the concierge had a very friendly and knowledgeable man come up and fix it. Also, without our asking, our first night was fully refunded! All over the smallest discomfort! I can't list the ways in which this hotel was beyond any that I had ever stayed in before - you must experience the magic yourself! It's grand, inviting... they make you feel like you are at home, and that you are a billionaire! You simply must stay here if you are looking to get a good tour of Richmond! The shuttle driver is knowledgeable and so is the concierge, and any questions that you want to ask them, they will answer it and make your stay just that much more valuable!

Gorgeous hotel, great service, nice to be able to bring our dog to this type of luxury hotel. Only downside-no grassy dog walk areas nearby.
