  Nice staff

  Not wanting to stay there again. They put in the back of the building with your pet. That area is run down and trashy looking. Evening front desk person was very helpful when my husband fell and could not get up.

  Dog Friendly

  The dog walking area was freshly mowed and clean. The breakfast was much better than expected. We were treated courteously at all times. Convenient and easy to find when passing through.

  Not for the faint of heart

  The check-in process was great, everything was smooth and easy having booked the room through this website. When I opened the door to the room I was punched in the face with a scent that can only be described as the odor left behind when an elderly woman living with 20 cats in a small space passes away. It was bad. I know this was a "pet friendly" room but I am allergic to cats and I almost vomited from the stench. There was something splattered on the TV and the mirror in the bathroom that I didn't inspect closer or touch because I didn't want to know. The beds seemed clean, the air blew cold, but that's about the best I can say about the room.

  The bathroom had clearly been remodeled at some point recently, but the shower head was about 4' tall, so unless you are the aforementioned cat lady with the 20 feline friends, it was not a comfortable way to cleanse. I will say this - the breakfast in the morning was better than I anticipated. Nothing flashy, but also nothing bad. My kids enjoyed making their own waffles.

  Decent facility

  Safe neighborhood, clean room, except behind toilet. Close to I-81 but lots of highway noise at night.

  A place to sleep

  The hotel receptionist was warm and friendly, in spite of the late hour. There was a large dog walking area. The bed was comfortable. However, the place needs attention. There was a musty smell in the room, although it appeared clean. The free breakfast was practically nonexistent. And the shower didn't work very well. All in all it was a place to sleep, but I wouldn't stay there again.

  It's true the rooms are dog friendly. My room was clean. The top lock of my door was broken off. I was too tired to ask for another room.

  Good location/clean

  Room was very clean, big pet area for the dogs to walk ect. Front desk staff very pleasant! Would stay here again!

  It was a place to lay our heads....

  ...but that was about it. It was clean and that is huge. It was a no smoking room, but the smell of cigarette smoke right outside the door was nauseating. The mattress was so lumpy I didn't get much sleep. There is no station with bags or a trash can, which is just ridiculous for a pet friendly hotel. Rather than send another restless night I decided to drive the 7 hours home to my own bed and therefore forfeited a nights stay. Won't stay here again.

  A tad rundown...

  I’ll start with the good: The one employee that I interacted with during check in was pleasant and nice.

  Unfortunately, the property is in dire need of attention. The room was borderline gross, and needed serious work...poorly patched holes in the wall, generally dirty, and just not at all comfortable....pretty much in line with what I’ve seen at nearly every other Days Inn locations. It’s one of those “you get what you pay for” situations.

  Close to the interstate

  The room was clean but I found the bed to be lumpy. There was another dog in the next room who would bark and I would have to calm my dog so she would not bark. I wish the sound proofing between rooms was better.

  Great for dogs!

  The room wasn't fancy, but it was perfectly fine for us. I have a chihuahua who loves to walk and explore, and he loved walking around this hotel. It's not easy to find a good place to stay where you can walk your dog when traveling. This place has a lot of grassy areas. The room wasn't fancy, but it was nice enough that I'd stay again. Enjoyed the continental breakfast both mornings.

  Perfect for dog owners

  My wife and I have four dogs and as you can imagine it is difficult to find a hotel that accepts four dogs. This was our second time staying here over the last 16 months and both stays were perfect. Plenty of grass for the dogs to walk around in and it is right of the interstate. This last stay we rerouted our whole trip through Virginia, so that we could stay here. We do not stop overnight night much, but we will always stay at this hotel.
