  Good Stay!

  Clean and adequate for an overnight stay! No breakfast, but they did have coffee. It’s far enough off the freeway to be semi quiet.

  Clean & convenient but…

  The room was clean and conveniently across the parking lot from a big open field. However, it had a very strong urine smell. Also, there is nothing nearby food-wise. We got on the road and grabbed breakfast along the way.

  Clean, basic & inexpensive

  Good deal, right off the highway. Basic room, clean, only coffee, no breakfast. I should have asked for an extra pillow. Plenty of space the walk doggie

  Basic no frills motel

  We enjoyed our short stay at the Motel 6 in Staunton. No issues. The room was quiet and comfortable. No extra fee for pets, which is great. Thanks!

  Reasonably priced

  Clean room, clean bedding. Very large grass area to exercise dogs. Also very close to the interstate highway.

  Very nice stay

  A nice stay off the highway, but far enough back from the traffic noise. Rooms are newly remodeled and were very clean. There is a large field behind it that dogs can run. I would definitely stay again!

  Good choice!

  This is the third time we have stayed here. Great location easy on and off 81. Great space for walking your pup. Clean rooms are updated and pet friendly. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is our go to overnight on our annual trip south and back.

  Awesome Overnight Stay

  This Motel 6 was very clean and well kept. I was very impressed with the grounds available to walk the dog. All around one of the best Motel 6's I stayed at! They also gave great recommendations of food for the night and a shout out to Little Maria's Pizza (excellent).

  Best dog hotel I’ve been in

  People were very friendly and helpful. Room had easy access. The hotel is surrounded by large fields that allow your dogs a place to room safely or go for a long walk. Rooms are truly dog safe. No carpets for ac indents and the furniture is metal so nothing to chew. It appears to be used by a lot of people who are trainers. We had SAR dogs and there were several with dogs going to scent and agility trials. All the dogs were very well behaved. Would definitely stay there again. This is not a 5 star hotel so don’t expect that. But it’s clean and was decorated for the holiday season. It doesn’t have breakfast but it has free coffee. Beds are firm.

  Not our style

  The staff at this property are awesome. The rooms need to be cleaned and updated. Paper thin walls you can hear everything. Kept us all up during the night.

  Awesome Dog Friendly Hotel

  We were a little apprehensive about staying at a Motel 6. It only had 1 review. But we were making it because the other hotel(pet friendly) had booked us in a smoking room. When I called about the room, I was told there were no more pet friendly rooms and that you can't have pets in a smoking room. So, the Motel 6 was a hurry up and book a room reservation. Motel 6 won over the others because they allowed 2 dogs, no fee, no size limit, $64.99 weekend rate. It was an older Motel. The room was great. It was clean, 2 double beds. Lots of room. We could have fit 2 large dog crates. The dog walking area, around the hotel, was big and open. It is also on a private road, so we could walk the dogs up and down the road. They only serve coffee in the morning, as most hotels are doing, during this pandemic. Would we stay here again....Yes. FYI, They have only one vending area in the front lobby with one ice machine for the whole motel. I give it 4 bones. This review is wife approved!

  Great for Pet friendly

  The room was clean, didn't smell like a pet friendly room which was nice, the yard for the pets was right across the parking lot for easy access. the room was large enough for our (2) 90lb pups. It was a good room for a one night stay on our way home that didn't cost a fortune for the dogs. The bed was pretty comfy as well. the front desk man I dealt with was very friendly. Only complaint is about the neighbors checking in. They arrived at their room at 2am, yelling at each other, their squeaky door opening and closing at least 20 times. Every time they would open their door the dogs would start to growl. We had a sleeping baby so my husband had to go out and tell them to prop the door or something. Which they ended up doing. When he went outside they were chain smoking and the smoke filled our room, which was a bit irritating considering our baby. Other than that issue it was a good stay. Checking out was a breeze as well, same friendly staff encounter.
