  Run down, bad neighborhood

  Our bathroom like didn’t turn on, iron fall out of the wall, very dirty parking lot, broken glass and garbage all over, very small area for dog to potty. Elevator was very jerky and scary.

  Good Location

  I mean there is definitely cockroaches, the parking lot was really gross. For the price that’s not terribly unexpected, bed sheets & bathtub were very clean.

  Cheap

  Hotel was $100 cheaper than most in area. Room curtains didn’t close. Elevator was broken. Lady smoking a J out front each time we entered the building after walking our dog. Half lights in the room didn’t work. Deadbolt on door didn’t lock. Beds were super comfy and hotel was quiet. But you get what you pay for.

  July 4th bummer

  Hotel is very old and in need of a major renovation. Street in front is under construction and hard to pull into to park. Pool was full of trash and not working. Stayed in room 115 and bath tub would not drain. Told hotel clerk and was told no maintenance staff employed, all quit or fired. Checked out early and came home. Breakfast was a muffin or granola bar. Disappointed.

  Horrible hotel

  This hotel was the worst I have stayed at. First thing that strikes you when you pull into the parking lot is the garbage all over the property. I couldn’t find a clean space of grass to let my pup go potty. Then we went inside to check in. We are still in covid times and VA has a mask mandate. There are plenty of signs about mask wearing, however, the lady that checked us in was not wearing one. When I asked about it she simply said she forgot it at her desk and made no effort to go get it. After that experience we made our way to our room. It smelled like the carpets had been peed on over and over and no effort to clean the carpet had been made. There were visible stains all over. There was hair in the bathtub. Even my dog was trying to leave and get back in the car. Because it was so late and this was just a resting spot for a larger trip we were on I stayed. I did not take my socks off at all the entire time and left as soon as we woke up. I will never stay at this one again. On our way out of town I passed by a much newer and nicer La Quinta property that I would consider for my next trip.

  Extremely Dangerous

  I just left the hotel one night early because I encountered a dangerous group of people screaming intimidatingly “Blood of Caesar” and a variety of other unintelligible things at me when I tried to get to my car in the parking lot. I’m now sitting in a Walmart parking lot rather than the room for which I paid. One of their associates started walking directly at me while I was trying to load my car, I ran back to the hotel and into my room, then almost immediately someone turned the door handle of my hotel room. I called 911 and explained I needed help and was told that I didn’t know they were talking to me and unless they were making a direct threat she was not going to send an officer out. I am certain they were speaking directly to me. Finally, it occurred to me to pull my car up to the front entrance and load my stuff there rather than in the darker areas of the lot so I was able to get out. I’d seriously avoid this place. The corporate office claimed they were looking into this but didn’t bother to even email me back.

  Good Price, A Bit Dingy

  not bad for what we paid. We have 2 medium dogs both able to stay for no extra charge. the linens and bedding were all very clean but there were some stains on the walls and carpets. Currently no breakfast or pool because of COVID. There was a lot of trash on the property and the “pet area” was tiny and filled with litter and poop. Lots of people hanging out in their cars in the parking lot at night. I never really felt “unsafe” as others described though. The other patrons were actually very quiet. no barking dogs, yelling, etc. Surrounded by construction (I realize this isn’t the hotels fault) but it did wake us up at around 7 one morning. I’d say all in all good value place to stay for a night or two but probably wouldn’t recommend an extended stay. There was an AMAZING authentic Mexican restaurant right next door.

  The lady at the front desk was helpful. The room was sufficient for the short stay that we needed. The area is more corporate and up in coming so we felt safe.

  Good stay

  I was really happy for finding this room last minute. Had an emergency stop. It was really comfortable and had everything I needed and doggos were able to rest too. The only negative was the carpet was super sticky.

  You get what you pay for

  My husband and I needed a room for the night and we have two chihuahuas. It was cheap and the room was clean. I loved that they had no pet fee and were truly pet friendly. The breakfast included waffles amongst the regular continental items. The shower was a little short for my husband who is 5’6” and the rooms are a little dated but it was great for the price, you get what you pay for. I wish the halls and bedrooms were tile or at least vinyl because they are pet friendly so that the smells would not linger.
