  Awful hotel

  Aside from the long check-in because of the constant room changes between your website and the hotel, the hotel lacked basic services. The hotel room was dirty. I had to request from the hotel front desk (4 times) for toilet paper and tissues. The plumbing was faulty and did not shut off - had to call maintenance twice. Unable to purchase bottled water at front desk convenience shop - only sold Monster Caffeine beverages. Lastly, hotel overall was just dirty.

  Not terrible, but certainly not as pictured!

  The price was higher than implied (it was an "average daily price and we had to pay much more, plus $25+ each day for the pet fee) and we were counting on an outdoor pool, which was not only closed but unsightly (green and moldering, and we had a view of nothing but the pool). Otherwise fine, though. We liked the location, and the beach was nice. It's a long walk to the water, though, so be prepared for that, if you are easily fatigued (the beach has to be a quarter mile wide there.)

  Don’t waste your money! Please!

  The ice machines don’t work. Wasn’t able to use the gym it was closed. WiFi is slow. Indoor pool was closed for cleaning couldn’t use that for a day and a half. No signs warning it would be closed. Or a sign stating it was closed. My card didn’t work so I thought it had gotten deactivated somehow. Only after going to the front desk I found out it was closed for maintenance. Will not even try to help you with special request. Want low floor because husband is scared of heights. Was placed on 7th floor.
  Beds aren’t comfortable. Only refrigerator in the room no microwave. Hotel is dated and needs serious upgrades. Smelled Marijuana in hallway. No daily housekeeping. Trash in hallways. Coffee maker no coffee cups. No cups at all in room. No bath mats. Beautiful red round sofa pictured on hotel website wasn’t there. Most staff was on their phone while working. Meet two that were nice. Most just looked at you without even smiling.No hair dryer.Told 5 minutes plus to get hot water to shower. No laundry bag. Safety issues. No chair to put Handicap person in pool. No Defibrillator by pool. No hand rail in hot tub.This hotel is NOT Wyndham standards!!

  Great Location!!!

  This hotel had a great location far enough up the beach to be out of the hustle and bustle but close enough for access to everything. They were very accommodating to pets. It is an older hotel and had a few issues with the elevator while we were there, but the room was clean. Staff was helpful when fresh towels and items were needed.

  Great location!

  Love the location of the hotel and the beach access. The hotel is severely understaffed though. The restaurant was good, but had long wait times d/t understaffing. We loved the neighborhood. Our pup was super satisfied and loved the balcony and oceanfront. This hotel really needs a new manager and some updates. The grounds have trash everywhere, cigarette butts, dog poop that other owners didn't pick up etc. The pools were closed, but looked gross anyway! Overall, we had a good stay! Although, this Wyndham was not up to typical Wyndham standards!

  Good place

  $25 dollar per night for your dog, great price comparing with other hotels or rentals. Easy access to the beach. Do not expect a fancy hotel! Outdated but clean! I gave 4 they were really nice and helpful with our puppy.

  Beautiful View-Less Than Mediocre Room

  Room, bathroom & linens appear relatively clean. Carpet & baseboards in “ruff” shape! Stick to the elevators (the stairs are nasty). Room service was great- quick and delicious!

  Right on the beach.

  Pet relief area not maintained. Lights no longer worked. Wwaste bag station had'nt been replenished in a very long time

  Great View

  The room was clean. The view was great and we were only 2 door away from the elevator. There was no lighting in the doggie area. Really dark at night. The bottom rusted out of the doggie waste can. Since it was after labor day, could take my dog to the beach any time. The tv in the room sucked. There was no microwave. There was no hairdryer in the room when I arrived. Had to call the front desk twice before they brought one. The view was worth it though. This is the second time I have stayed here with my dog. Will probably return.

  Made us Wait 2.5 hours to check it

  We showed up at 2:30pm for 4pm checking just to make sure they were aware we had a pet. They said yes we have a pet listed please come back at 4pm; which we did, they had no rooms available and made us wait until 6:30pm to be able to check it. With kids and pet waiting in the car after a long ride was stressful. We figure ok, it’s during Covid-19 maybe they are short staff lets be understanding. We got to our room and obviously the entire floor smelled like dog (and for some odd reason there is no A.C. in the hallways). Our room was ok, smelled the beds seem more like full size than queen size bed, yet again we said it’s ok we can make do. But I draw the line at ROACHES, one clearly squeezed on our wall, my husband killed 2 on separate occasions in the hallway. Oh and there was a dead CRAB by the front entrance of the building, bugs flying around, wasn’t cleaned until 2 days later. Would never go back there.

  Great Location

  The great location is about the only good thing about this place, and the restaurant that is attached. It looks run down and dirty. Every party for the days I stayed had to wait unreasonable times to check in (couldnt get in the room till 8pm) and when I finally got in the room there were no towels, soap, or shampoo already provided. This took a long time to be brought to my room as well. I know my dog and kids had a great time so that makes me happy, just hope we didn’t catch covid 19 during our stay.

  Great Getaway

  The hotel was spotless, staff helpful and quiet location off the boardwalk. Likely visit again! It was Midge’s first trip to the beach and she loved it!

  Meh...More expensive and smelled Bad

  Booked a room thinking I was getting a good rate, showed up to a more expensive room because the only dog friendly ones are on the ocean front, smelled like wet dog, moldy bathroom...AND I paid an extra $100 for my tiny pooches. Not worth $500 for three days. Additionally, went to breakfast at the hotel....terrible. Will not stay at the Wyndham again. I would rather pay more and get a better room with good food a few miles down the road.

  Great Stay!

  Loved the atmosphere of the Northend. Quiet. None of those bands playing. Just quiet, private beach, excellent staff and my dog by my side. Definitely will be back!
