This hotel had a nice outside area for dogs and a waste disposal station. We were on the second floor but it was right beside the stairs. Room was clean.

We reserved an oversized room and it was great for the dogs. Space was clean. Dog area was nice with grass, available poop bags & disposal bucket.

Run down hotel and room needs lot of upgrades. If you are looking for a very clean and comfortable place, you should look elsewhere.

The hotel is older but was in good condition with lots of space. There were restaurants on either side of the hotel. Staff was great in getting us a room on the first floor.

My family and I started using this hotel when I first moved to Virginia for school with my dog. They were very accommodating and were able to get us a room very quickly. My parents have continued to use them every time they come up to visit me.

Needed a place to put our heads down while traveling with our cat. I wasn’t sure what to expect being put in a “pet” room. The room was really nice, very clean and no evidence of other animals. I would stay here again without hesitating!

Refrigerator has stagnated water in the ice drip tray, mold and smelled. Tub had a soft spot on the bottom which can cause a loss of balance. The AC/heat unit fan runs continually even when the fan is turned off. It’s rather loud too. Other that that, the room was fine.

Room was huge, lots of room for our giant babies. Guests in room next to ours were super loud, had trouble going to sleep. Nice grassy area for dogs to sniff around and pee/poop --they even provide waste baggies! Overall, 4 bones for a good stay.

We had a wonderful stay here with our pet pal Amos the Longhaired Dachshund! Accommodations were clean and the room was a generous size. Excellent walking areas, a nice hot/cold breakfast buffet and helpful staff added to a very pleasant stay. Although this property is a few miles off I-81, it is worth the very short detour to Waynesboro. We give it 6 bones!

After not knowing what we were getting into when we entered skyline drive with a speed limit of 35 mph and loopy bendy curves for 105 miles, my husband, dog and I were exhausted. We were so glad to find best Western plus, it was like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Clean, comfortable, awesome breakfast, room was big, plenty of parking. Dog area was big, clean and had a nice place to sit so we could play with our dog, so she could get some needed exercise. We even decided to stay an extra night to re-group. The staff were very nice, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

My human and I had a great stay here while visiting the mountains. Room was very comfy and suite was spacious enough for me to stretch my legs. Breakfast was very tasty as well with a nice selection of items. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if in the area.

Hotel is very clean, lots of green space to walk dogs, window opens a small amount so my Setter had lots to sniff. There is a restaurant next door, The Fishin' Shack, which has fenced private dining patios and dogs are welcome to roam freely inside, or there is a large grassy area you can tether your dog to your patio fence and let them explore while you eat and watch.
