Comfortable room and a large area for dogs. We stayed in December, so didn’t get to enjoy the large outdoor pool. Very easy to get on the Skyline Dr., Blue Ridge Parkway from here. Friendly staff

It’s a pet friendly place and that’s the only good thing I can really say. There was dried blood on the toilet paper roll from drug addicts wiping their needles through it, the toilet seat was up and had urine splotches of fresh urine on it, the mini fridge was filthy but operational, the carpet was so nasty it turned our feet black and there were homeless sleeping out in the lawn right outside our door. It was a place to lay our head and it’s close to restaurants and right off the interstate but that’s all I can say for this place.

We have never had to cancel a reservation after seeing the room. This place was a dump. Our room had hair in the tub, a funny smell to cover up the carpet stains, a pill on the floor, etc. Housekeeping came to vacuum again and clean the tub for us when we complained but as I walk d the grounds with my dog, I noticed there were cigarette butt cans outside each room, grease cans under the BBQ, acrotten apple by the pool and the dog poop can was overflowing. We just could not stay and do not recommend that anyone stay there.

Nice size room for dog beds without moving the human furniture, especially when you have former racing greyhounds. Walk right out the door and you're walking on a huge clean grassy area for your hounds. Also, if you'd like to cool off there's a nice pool for the humans. Planning on returning next year so we can start our journey down the Blue Ridge Parkway... we finished Skyline Drive this year.
