The staff was helpful and friendly. My dog was treated well. The rooms were clean and orderly. The hotel was comfortable and cozy. Ample space to walk my dog. Outside venue beautiful. Highly recommend this location for pets and their people.

Was great until they overcharged me for the room; I was told it would drop off my card and it didn’t. Room had all carpet and a weird smell. Also the free shuttle is NOT dog friendly, although the hotel told us all about how to use it and find it only to be told service animals only. The breakfast is great, there’s a lot of stuff to do there, and it is close to Colonial Williamsburg, but most likely will not stay there again.

Super dog friendly and the king size suite was perfect layout for ensuring dog kennels could be away from the typical hallway noise that may cause an occasional bark. Lots of trails for walking you fur babies.

We have 2 Goldens and while they are well behaved - they're big. We had a suite and there was plenty of room for my husband and I and the dogs so I recommend a suite. Also the area had some good dining options but having the fridge and microwave made take-out a good choice. The hotel is clean, the staff are wonderful, efficient and friendly, and there were lots of places to walk. We plan on making it a yearly visit.

They rooms were nice and spacious. We were put in a room that was convenient to the outside for dog duties and close enough to pool and other amenities for the family. Wonderful environment. Enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning and was so excited that our fur baby was able to use the shuttle bus😁.

We travelled with our two Havaneses and decided to spend a couple nights at the Woodlands. The room was clean and spacious. A plus was that we could walk to the Historic area, which we did, or take a shuttle bus. My only suggestion would be to get there during daylight, as the layout was different and it took us a bit to find the correct entrance to get to our room. I would recommend this to anyone wishing to visit the area.

We were very pleased with our stay, everything was nice. I wish our room had been nearer to the main area as we had to drive to breakfast each day. My husband sat in car while I ate and then I watched dog while he ate. Room was too far for us to walk. However the breakfast was very good. Would stay again but see if we could get a room closer to main area. Not sure but thinking we were in a dog friendly area which they put in the back of the hotel.
