Was about 6 hours from Pittsburgh (heading to FL). The hotel has an elevator, and plenty of grass for the dog. Dogs are supposed to be crated if left unattended in the room. I called the front desk and got permission to load up the car without crating my dog in the meantime. Was really grateful for that since I couldn't pack her crate into the car anyways.

I have strayed at La Quinta for years and am shocked that they allow this place to hang their brand on it. Smells like a kennel when you walk in. Hairs in the bathtub. No hot water. Torn carpets and out feet are black from walking on it. Absolutely the worst.

Our room was on the 3rd floor and on the other side of the hotel from the pet area which was very inconvenient for us with 2 pets. The sheer curtains in our room had at least 4 2ft tears in the and were also stained with numerous blood stains. The room keys when inserting would not work after having it changed twice. The person at the desk came up and told us we had to lift it up and shake it. She finally got it to work but it was sporadic at best. One of us had to stay in room so we could get back in. The TV remote didn’t work so we used the button on the bottom of the TV to change channel and volume. Although the hotel looks nice on the outside once inside you can tell it is old and dated. I will never stay there again.

Clean room, tasty free breakfast, very convenient location. Yes, decor is dated and room key electronics wonky (also need update, probably) but we didn’t really care-had all of the essentials with nice staff and would stay there again.

Inside is outdated. Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance. Our first room reeked of urine, toilet would not stop running and the faucet dripped and the bathroom floor was sticky. Second room was a little better but not worth the money. Stay somewhere else.

We were happy with the room and the hotel in general. Everything was in working order and we were pleased how they treated our pet.

We enjoyed one night here with our fur baby, Zorro. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy with nice pillows and very soft sheets and bedding. Standard breakfast with cereal, yogurt, eggs, sausage and waffle maker. juice and coffees. A nice green area off to the side for dogs to walk and bathroom. We made it in at 8 pm and left by 8 am. So perfect for what we needed a clean comfortable place to shower and rest. We did drive the few miles down to check out the historic area and it’s a very pretty little town with some dog friendly restaurants and shopping. Quick hop back on to 77 and headed to Niagara Falls. 🐾 Rate with pet fee was $115 per night. 6/2022

Hotel exterior looks brand new. Interior however really shows the age and traffic. First room had stained bedding so we were given another room. Hotel staff very nice and accommodating.

Nice area to walk the dogs. Very pet-friendly. Nice breakfast. A bit outdated - not very modern. But a great location and perfectly adequate for my stay with my two "boys."

I realize that the dog rooms would be less nice than the non pet ones, but it just stunk and I didn’t even feel like I could even feel comfortable sleeping in the bed. The air barely work which made it worse. Staff was super friendly, but the room just was not good.

It’s not a terrible hotel but our experience was bad. After getting in our room we found the air set at 60 on high but it was hot in the room…. air wasn’t working. They assigned me a 2nd room but after getting keys from the lobby 3 different times the door wouldn’t open. We then got assigned our 3rd room. We got in and the air worked but was so noisy we didn’t sleep well and dog panted and whimpered most the night. I’ve stayed at much nicer hotels in nicer locations and paid much less.

Needs refurbished. Broken light switches. Broken control plate on A/C. Sour shower curtains. Dirty floor. Bed was clean, mattress just ok. Pretty quiet for the dog.

It was a wonderful place to stay. Check in and out was a breeze. Being able to bring our door for only $20.00 was perfect. Everyone was friendly and helpful.. Will continue to use La Quinta Inns on future location.

I have to say this was MUCH better than the hotel we found on the way down! Much cleaner and spacious!!! My son and our old man (dog) did not have to sleep on a hard floor on the way home which made me one happy mama! This is our second stay at a La Quinta both stays were superb!! Highly recommend.

I have stayed there several times on our way home to HHI. Service has always been courteous and professional.. the facilities are being updated and keep getting better. A great place to stop with a pet. A large area in front is great for walking your dog.

And pretty grubby. And beware of La Quinta now charging fees at some locations. This last trip means I won’t be using them as my go to dog friendly source. Too inconsistent now.

This hotel was fine. There was lots of green space, and the staff has very helpful. The grass needed to be cut, the toilet had a slow flush, and I found some garbage behind the night stand. But, my two big dogs were comfortable and I would consider staying here again.
