The motel was at the end of two other housing blocks that appeared to be transient housing where people were sitting outside smoking and drinking. One person was working on his car in the lot while another changed the oil in his motorcycle (who knows where the oil was deposited). The motel itself was not in great shape and the rooms bore little resemblance to the photos on the website. The toilet paper roll was broken. When we got there we couldn't get into the room and the maintenance person, when he arrived, was able to get in but with some difficulty. As a result we were unable to all leave the room at once since there seemed to be a good chance that we may not have been able to get back in. On the plus side, dogs don't seem to care much where they are as long as they are with the people they know.

Had a problem with reservation but staff worked to solve it well. Nice clean, large room, well kept. Great full hot breakfast included. Would definitely recommend it.

Room was basic. Clean, but there was a slight mildew odor. Mattress was comfortable but frame creaked when you rolled over. Parking lot just outside room was noisy until after 11 (kids playing).

Not very clean, long overdue for a remodel. Glad we were there for just 2 nights. Lots of what I will call transients staying there. It looked like they had been there for quite a while - cardboard boxes outside the rooms, kids riding bikes in the parking lot. Rooms themselves were in pretty rough condition.

The room was ok for a dog to sleep in. Room layout was nice but window was broke, tub wouldn't hold water and curtains were barely hanging. Was supposed to be king bed, but was 2 queen.

We’ve stayed at this inn many times. Always great. Very simple and pet friendly..Not the Taj, but if u are going to Brattleboro, vT with a pet, this work for you. New pillows would be great.

Great location and mostly clean but upon entering the room there was an overpowering musty smell originating from somewhere. We had to open the windows to air out but a few hours later it returned

We are so happy with this place, the hot tub, sauna, and steam room made the visit above and beyond!
Plenty of grass space to walk our boxer and the staff was lovely. Coffee and breakfast complimentary.

Safe Stay: Colonial Motel and Spa has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
