You can hear and see the ocean from most cabins. Beach access varies with the storms, but once you're on the beaches there's lots of room even during the busy times. Lots of short hikes nearby. Not a lot of restaurants or food options so bring your own. They do have a restaurant at the lodge but it's kinda spendy. They also have a general/convenience store out front that serves the public and a nearby awesome campground. We love a taking our dog with us everywhere. This is definitely our favorite place.

The dog-friendly cabins at this lodge are rustic but very comfortable. Nothing special for the doggie, but his people were snug and cozy with the wood stove. Beautiful beach but dogs must be leashed; the lodge is in a national park.

Dogs welcome in the cabins. Fresh water station for cleaning your pet after its beach romp. Dogs can join you on the outdoor patio of the restaurant. No Wi-Fi or TV if that’s important to you. Cabins are rustic and cozy.

We just returned from our third road trip up the Pacific coast and our third visit to Kalaloch Lodge in Washington State. This is one of our favorite destinations. The cabins are well spaced and feature small but complete kitchens and a wood burning stove. There are plenty of grassy areas for the dogs to do their business, and a seemingly endless stretch of beach on which to romp. If you walk a short distance down the road to the camp ground there is also a short nature trail that our dogs loved. However, I think our favorite feature is the Creekside restaurant onsite. They don't mind if you leave your dogs in the cabin while you dine, and we highly recommend that you do! The gumbo and salmon are always excellent. I highly recommend a stop at Kalaloch Lodge. Your dogs will thank you for it!
