Perfect for the price. Excellent location. Been to many pet friendly hotels all of which tend to smell like urine which isn’t too surprising. However no pet smells at all. Only suggestion I could have is a pet area or poop bag stations. I’ll be back!

I read in another review that the Microtel stay was their best with their dog, but that wasn't saying much. So true. Every place we stay, we're relegated to the worst part of the hotel (where laundry is done, electrical boxes hum like crazy and people argue all night), I've come to expect it. The rooms are shabby and poorly kept (Microtel was the "best" - like being the sanest inmate in the serial killer cell block), so there you go. If any chain ever presents a reasonable option for pet travel, even with the crazy BS clean up fees, I'm in. Until then, my baby stays home.

The hotel was fine for having a dog stay with you. The walls were thin, so you heard the people next to you and above you. There was a lot of grassy area around that hotel for walking the dog.

The Microtel Inn and Suites in Beckley, WV was a wonderful place to stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel employees welcomed my pet and were very accommodating. I highly recommend.

This hotel was not bad. Best one of our trip (unfortunately). The room wasn’t bad. A few pet stains on the floor and needed to get the suite with a pull out couch for the 4 of us but it was clean. Needs a renovation though. Check in and out staff were friendly. Breakfast was good for a free breakfast. Not much for us as we are gluten free but they had yogurt, oatmeal, juice, milk and fruit so we made due.

Safe Stay: Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Beckley East has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and follows the Count on Us (Wyndham) cleanliness and sanitization policy. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks. This property advises that guests without full COVID-19 vaccination must wear masks.
