    Adequate

The facilities were old and a bit run down but everything was adequate for a one night stay. New bed covers and TV were a step in the right direction.

    Freeway noise

Room ok except sink did not drain. Grass area for dog had much trash and bottles to watch out for.

    Clean, a little sketchy

This place was clean, but it is a little sketchy, tired and worn as you might expect with just about all the value motels. Access to rooms is via the interior hallway, but there are unique outside access doors for the first floor rooms. Be careful not to lock yourself out of your room if accessing the parking lot through the room's exterior door (ask me how I know), which can be convenient for moving stuff in or out. Also, the key only works on the interior door, so you can't come and go via the exterior door. I think I remember a small coffee maker in the room. No breakfast. 3.5 bones.

    A neutral experience

They were fine with my dog and no hidden fees or up charges. The room was clean but no carpeting and the walls were paper thin. I got to listen to the neighbor’s tv until 2 am and other neighbors above me, um, doing the deed. I could hear another neighbor sawing wood as if they were in my room. Beds were comfortable, though.

    Martinsburg Red Roof Inn

Our stay at the Martinsburg Red Roof Inn 11/18-11/20/22 went well. We got the type of room we requested. It was clean and the WIFI and cable were good. Complimentary breakfast would have gave it 5 bones.

    Slightly sketchy

Room was clean, but lobby was very off-putting. Did not feel comfortable at check in but didn’t have any other options after a very long day on the road. Would not recommend it for a woman traveling alone.

    Disgusting room

One of the worst places I’ve stayed in. Here’s some examples: holes in wall where towels rack removed, oily film on bathroom floor, electric outlet with no cover. I slept on top of bed because I feared what I would find on sheets. Also, did not use shower because place was so nasty. As I left, there was a large police presence across the parking lot. I got out of there as quickly as possible!

The place was very run down

I wouldn’t stay there ever again. Also I accidentally left my Fitbit behind on the night stand and when I called two hours later they said they never found it.

    Old and dingy

This hotel is feeling its age. Everything from the lobby to the rooms is drab and beat up. It could use a good makeover. It is pet friendly though and our dog was comfortable in the room, but overall I wouldn't recommend the place.

I’ve stayed at the Red Roof Inn twice and would recommend it. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Neat and clean hotel.
