Good hotel for dogs. Our room was on the ground floor near the entrance to the wing where we were staying. The hotel design is confusing at first regarding how you get to the room. Desk clerk said that the room is “around the back” but the building has no architectural elements or features showing where you enter. It was also raining hard when we entered and the entrance has no awning or cover over the door so we received the gutter overflow when entering using the older style card reader.

Was traveling alone with my dog. Everything was great. Clean room, comfy bed, relatively quiet, very nice, helpful staff, lots of places to walk the dog. I will definitely stay here again.

The man at the front desk who checked us in was very kind. He explained how to get to the dog area and around the hotel in general(the layout is odd). He stated, " we just love them (the dogs) here! You're always welcome!

We stopped at this property on our way home to CT from SC. The hotel was very clean and the room perfect. They gave us a room on the first floor near an exit door so it was convenient to walk our Cavapoo. The restaurant was acceptable and convenient. If you're looking for something nicer there are plenty of places to eat very close by.

We checked into this hotel late at night after a very long day of driving. The person at reception was kind, friendly and extremely competent. When I had trouble getting into my room with my key, I called the hotel to ask for help, rather than walk back to the desk with my bags and my dog. The man at reception immediately offered to come to where I was, and help me. Thankfully, he was able to give me advice over the phone that allowed me to enter the room. But he was friendly and helpful and just so kind. In the morning, the person at the restaurant took my order for breakfast and arranged for me to pick it up so I wouldn’t have to leave my dog in the room alone (which the hotel requests of guests). She was friendly, helpful and went out of her way to be kind.
I stay in a lot of hotels. Nowadays it is rare to see staff consistently go above and beyond to make hotel guests feel so welcome and valued. I don’t know whether it is management that makes the staff so pleasant, or whether people from West Virginia are just kinder than everyone else. It was a great feeling to encounter the staff at this hotel. I would plan my next trip carefully, to try and make sure that Martinsburg was a good place to stop for the night, and it would definitely be at this hotel, no question. I couldn’t rate it more highly. It was just excellent.

Newly renovated, clean, convenient, great staff. We were on the first floor which gave us easy access to outside for relief breaks. Potty area had bags and trash cans. For the most part other doggie owners did pick up. This is also next to a fantastic Mexican restaurant, gas/convenience store and jump on the highway. Highly recommend.

Sherri and Christine were totally awesome, so helpful and considerate. I felt like family in my dealings with them. Rooms were clean and well appointed and our dog was very comfortable as well. Lots of dog walking opportunities and everyone was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again and/or recommend to anyone traveling with a pet.

We really liked our stay here. The only negative was the air conditioner sounded like an old washing machine - very loud. The hotel has been recently renovated so rooms were beautiful and beds are new and very comfortable! A great place to bring your large dog. Just remember that the first floor is really not interlinked with the rest of the building (except the pool and patio). You have to take elevator to third floor for lobby and ice. You can drive your car to the back lot and access doors to your rooms. That being said, we found the first floor rooms nice and quiet . Had a loud family next door - could only hear them in the hallway - not in the room! Nice soundproofing! You are close to shopping and eating establishments- and the interstate. Will stay here again!

This hotel provides rooms for guests with dogs that are near outdoor exits so that one can go outside as needed with ease. The restaurant in the hotel is a nice added touch, very good salads, buffet.

Great stay at this hotel, thanks to BringFido.com. Food was good, hotel and room was very clean, staff were so nice and helpful. Only downside was we had a long walk to our room with our luggage, even though it was on the first floor. We would definitely stay here again.
