I will preface this by saying that you get what you pay for. We stayed here for two nights while visiting family and chose it mostly for the price and the lower pet fee. I’m not sure if I’m just used to a higher standard or if the staff needs better training or less hours (they are highly over worked) but I felt like no ones information was consistent and like I was bothering them for having questions or wanting to confirm information. The pet fee is advertised as $10 per pet per night but has actually been raised to $15 per pet per night which is updated on their website. Still not awful but I would have probably gone with a different hotel had I known this before booking a prepaid room. The room itself seemed clean enough but is in need of some repairs. There are marks on the walls and floor, we had stickers all over our microwave and the sheets were stained and had burn marks despite being a non smoking property. The hotel provides a hard key to the building and a separate key to your room and you will be charged $25 per key if you don’t return them. While waiting for the person in front of me to check in the clerk made the comment “yeah there’s more of these keys in Morgantown than there are bars, we’re going to have to change all the locks” which didn’t make us feel safe. The rate is super cheap and our bed was comfortable but this property is clearly cutting corners to save money anywhere they can and I would suggest just splurging a little more to stay elsewhere.
