        Good Location

When traveling with 2 dogs you can’t be too picky! This hotel is right off the highway with plenty of
space for walking the dogs. The rooms are very close and can be a bit noisy but clean and comfortable beds. The Outback Steakhouse is super close and convenient for dinner. The free breakfast is sparse but the coffee decent. Very friendly staff.

        Dog lovers and super friendly!

We were immediately impressed with the staff when we walked in. They were so nice and were a great resource for the area if you need info. Our pup got lots of treats too and there is a grassy area with a bag station for walking. The room itself was clean and comfortable and I think updated since some of these other reviews. The hotel is across from train tracks but it was a soft rumble, not a train whistle hourly or anything like that. Our only issue was the door to the room. Paper thin and a 2 inch gap at the bottom so our dog barked anytime someone walked by (and really this is a La Quinta issue in general, we’ve stayed in a few this week on our way across country because they are so pet friendly but everyone has the same problem). We ended up putting a towel across it. We would definitely stay again though, LaQuinta Inns love pups!

        disgusting hotel!

This has to be one of the most disgusting hotels on the face of the earth. Rude staff. We walked into our room which smelled like 100 dogs have been pissing in there for days and they were doing a remodel and we couldn't open the window to even get some fresh air in. The worst night ever! I would recommend to never stay there or any other look Cuenta hotel due to shitty customer service and shitty staff

        Terrible stay!

The good thing about this place is the front desk staff -- very friendly and helpful. But the place STINKS -- it's old, tired, and smells like a locker room that they tried to mask with heavy, stinky air freshener. We both had a hard time sleeping because of the smell. We were supposed to stay here in our return trip and cancelled.

Less then a bad Motel 6. The hotel was older which isn't necessarily bad, except it was also filthy. White and black tiles in bathroom with dirty grout. Half the outlets in the room were inoperable. Pulled out the bedside table to see if the outlet behind there worked - extremely dusty, old bottle cap and dried food on the floor from previous occupants. Windows rattled all night in the wind. Breakfast area was dirty. No spray for the waffle machine so the waffles stuck. Food on the floor and used utensils and half empty waffle cups left on counter. Outside was dismal. Parking lot full of holes, no real place to exercise dogs that wasn't covered in feces from previous occupants. Yuck. Never will stay here again.

Great hotel for 1 night stay

This hotel was great! Clean, pet-friendly, and for no pet fee, we really can't complain! The only downside was the lack of grassy area for dogs to relieve themselves. There are rocks that they can go in, but it's a little walk and close to the highway if you want grassy area. Will definitely stay at La Quinta hotels in the future. Had a nice room and great breakfast!

        Excellent-September 2015

Stayed with two large dogs in early September 2015. We were in a non-smoking, King bed room on the 3rd floor. Room was very spacious, clean and quiet. Included mini fridge and microwave. Dogs were well-received. Hotel is about 1.5 miles from downtown. Near freeway and train tracks but our room was not too loud. Greenway area with path outside hotel for walking dogs (a little dirty but totally usable). Will stay again next time we're traveling this way.

        Great room and nice staff

Doesn't have convenient trailer parking or dog walk area but overall I definitely recommend this hotel. Clean, safe and comfy.

        Fabulous stay

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, made me feel welcome with my pet, and a very clean room. Recommended for anyone with dogs!

        Dirty and smelly

The carpet in our room was absolutely filthy and we would not walk on it in our bare feet. There is no area for the dog to potty in, no grassy areas at all! Our dog had to do his business in the parking lot. Parking is limited. Our dog likes to play ball but there was no place for him to play ball. Nothing to eat of any quality in the hotel area. And our room had this strong disinfectant odor that knocked you over when you opened the door! And we have stayed in a lot of hotels, but I've never been to one that requires your room key to get ice! Crazy!

        Decent place

Very dog friendly! But it's across the street from RR tracks! The bathroom floor could have at least had human hair cleaned out of it. The rest of the room was clean and nice.

It was filthy and very worn out. I'm pretty sure the phone in our room had not been dusted, much less sanitized for two years. The area for walking the dogs was very limited and mostly dirt.

        Great place to stay

Our stay at the LaQuinta Inn Cheyenne was very enjoyable. The room was clean and spacious; the bed very comfy; the desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Area available to leash walk our pets....would recommend.

        Never Again

I should have walked out as soon as the man behind the counter took a phone call that he had placed on hold prior to even acknowledging me. Needless to say that as soon as I got on to my (smoke-free) floor, all I could smell was smoke. I will say..the room was clean, all except for the tub floor which was grimey, probably due to the fact that the drain was clogging up during my shower. To top things off, as soon as I "opened" up my refrigerator door, it completely fell off the hinges onto the floor. Unfortunately, La Quinta has been crossed off of my list of places to stay. That is just too bad, seeing as how I am on a cross-country road trip.

        Nice hotel!

We enjoyed our stay at the La Quinta Inn in Cheyenne. Our dog was treated well, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We actually began searching for more La Quintas on our trip because of our good experience. Wish there was an indoor pool, though.

        Cheyenne La Quinta

Our stay was great! When we checked in the clerk did not have us for a pet, but when I told her she was very pleasant and moved us to a ground floor room. Overall the room and the stay were nice. I would have given 5 stars, but there is limited area for dogs to use the restroom and the grass they do have is full of waste. I wish people would pick up after their pets.

        Our stay

Having the Village Inn in the same parking lot made bringing food other than fast food back to the room easy. Quality, cleanliness and amenities in the room were very good. We particularly appreciated no fee for the pet, and the free internet.
