Big Bear is an old fashioned motel, comfortable and friendly. It was quiet, clean, no breakfast but that was OK. The only thing not good was there was nothing but pavement on the property. No place for dogs to go.

The town is amazing. The motel is clean, friendly, lively. So happy we stayed here. I traveled from coast to coast and this is my favorite stop.

The potty area is large and lots of bags. pet rooms are pretty run down and uncomfortable

Wonderful view. Great for an overnight visit. Could move the manure pile though, smell came into the room

The staff was friendly and the rooms were small but cozy. Plenty of areas to Easley your dog. We did find a large stain on the underside of one of the quilts so obviously they are not washed after every customer. Otherwise the place was great.

A throwback to when travel was a romantic journey. Room was clean, staff was great, and location fabulous. Will gladly stay again.

About an hour from Yellowstone NP. Room was not fancy but clean and comfortable. The man at the front desk was very friendly and gave us good recommendations on places to eat in Cody. We would definitely stay there again.

The Big Bear Motel was clean and well set up for pets. Plenty of green areas for our dogs and space around the motel for short walks. The rooms have all of the basic needs and we’re comfortable. Others have written that the rooms are dated and I would agree, but for the price and delivering the basic motel needs…we were very pleased. Additionally, the staff was very nice and helpful. We will stay there again on our next trip to Cody!

The room was a bit dated but well kept. Fridge and microwave in the room. No problems with Maggie, but she was sure interested in the horses in the corral out back!

Motel 6 would be an upgrade to this place! For $147 we were fearful of possible Covid exposure. How can you sanitize a filthy surface? We couldn’t even take showers this morning because the shower fixture fell
Apart and landed into the tub. For that kind of money there wasn’t any Kleenex, or barely enough toilet paper. Save the public from our experience and close this place!
