  Charming Hotel

  The Cody was a wonderful surprise. The room was comfortable, clean and located close to everything. My pup was also very happy!! I would definitely recommend.

  Super nice hotel

  Hotel was great, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Great space for dog walking, good view from balcony. Had power outage one morning, but not hotel controllable. Got an earlier start in Yellowstone, so it worked out. Pains me say that Cody the town was not pleasant this time. Restaurants all close early and reservations required without really letting you know that reservations are advised. Guess residents and businesses were just tired of tourists and couldn't wait for the season to end. Customer service was lacking nearly everywhere, not the friendly western town we remembered. Yellowstone awesome as always, Town of Cody not so much.

  Great Place

  We loved our stay at The Cody. We were here for two nights with our German shepherd. We always travel with her dog bed, which is GSD size, and the king bed room was large enough that there were options of where we could place it in the room. The room was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of places to plug in electronics. All pet friendly rooms are on the first floor. We had our own door to the outside behind the hotel, where there is room for potty walks, complete with a doggy waste station that supplied bags and a receptacle for used ones. The front desk gave our dog a biscuit each time she went by. There is a nice laundry facility, which we made use of. The lobby is gorgeous and there were freshly baked chocolate chip cookies put out around 5 or so. Breakfast was included and consisted of cereals, yogurt, fresh mixed fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage, a waffle maker, and various breads.

  Awesome Hotel!

  The staff was very friendly and excited to meet our pup (treats were given). The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy (there’s even stairs next to the bed for the pups). We enjoyed their breakfast buffet before departing. This was our 3rd hotel on our week and half trip cross country and by far my favorite. I would absolutely stay here again!

  Quiet place

  The people were very friendly, especially to our Great Dane. The cabin was nice but smaller than expected. Floors were dirty, very dirty.

  Awesome Yellowstone Spot

  Friendly staff, lots of dog places outside and beautiful decor. Really great find, and great deluxe room with jacuzzi tub and deck for us. Both dogs had lots of space to spread out (Alaskan Malamutes).

  This hotel was so nice, well kept and the workers were very kind. We have two dogs that loved the place. Truly dog friendly not just dog tolerant. Also the continental brekky was a legit breakfast not just cereals and toast.

  A+ for Pets and Their Humans

  This was one of my favorite hotels during my travels this fall. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Dog friendly staff, dog friendly rooms, dog friendly area in general. There were multiple places to walk your dog with multiple waste containers and bags. The rooms were gorgeous. There was a veranda from the privacy of my hotel room with a gorgeous view of the mountains and space for my dog to get fresh air during the day and in the evening. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful stay we had at this hotel. We were both rested and happy when we left.

  Beautiful and comfortable room. Great outdoor area with fire pit. All rooms had outdoor patio that is enclosed so you dog can be in or out. Very friendly staff!!

  Beautiful hotel

  The hotel was beautiful. There are rooms with little walled off patios on the front of the property (on all three floors). We didn't get one, but it would have been so nice to have that outside space for our furry friend who spent the whole vacation either in a leash or inside. The lobby area is so posh... It felt waaay fancier than I expected for a pet friendly hotel. The room was spacious and on the ground floor. There was lots of outside green space for walking and a pet clean up station with bags. Breakfast was ok, but the fresh yogurt with muesli was outstanding!! They have dvds you can borrow for free too, which is nice!

  Great location

  This hotel was great. We were picking up a puppy in WY and were looking for a nice Pet friendly hotel. We stayed in a pet friendly room. It was set up perfectly with a separate access to outdoor area, perfect for traveling with a puppy. The continental breakfast it was exceptionally good. The rooms and common areas were spotless. We would stay here again if we ever come back to Cody.

  A really dog-friendly hotel!

  Some places say they are dog friendly, this place really is! It was so nice to see other dogs walking with their people in the hallways. They were allowed to sit with us in the lobby by the fireplace for breakfast and after dinner drinks. By the way, the breakfast is pretty good for hotel self serve! The grassy area was always clean for dogs doing their business. The staff was very friendly also. Rooms have a back door to a patio or balcony to sit outside and see the mountains. The Cody really exceeded our hopes for our visit to the Yellowstone area. Will definitely stay again.

  Most dog friendly place we stayed

  We did a 10 day family road trip and in my opinion, this was the most dog friendly experience. I think it’s so cute they put steps by the bed so the dogs can get up on the tall beds easily. We were in the back corner, right by a door that took us right out to the grassy dog area. They had a full, delicious breakfast, and while the dog isn’t allowed in the breakfast area, obviously, they had a big table in the lobby that we could sit at and all be together. It was conveniently right across the street from the chuck wagon dinner we went to that night at The Cody Cattle Company. And it was one of the nicest dog friendly places we stayed on the whole trip as well. Hands down better than a Best Western.

  Great location but very overpriced

  No issues with dog related experience, but for humans it was not great at all. No sound insulation between floors, and no proper bathroom. Sink is a part of the room, while tub/shower and toilet are in the bathroom. Not a luxury place worth $284 + taxes.

  Beyond "Pet Friendly "

  I booked at The Cody because of my dogs, but I'd stay there even without them! The room was wonderful, the lobby luxurious, breakfast was restaurant-quality, and staff was the best. There were multiple areas for dogs, including an off-leash exercise area. Our room had a rear door that led directly to a pet area. Truly a wonderful stay!

  Human and pet royalty.

  Very nice hotel, feels very new, extremely clean. Big rooms and bathroom. All rooms have balconies or patios. First floor room patios go directly to the dog walking area which was very nice. Plenty of grass around the property as well. My one slight slight criticism is that every room door does not have a gentle shut so they slam loudly every time someone enters or exits their room. Even with my TV cranked up loudly my dog heard every single room door open and close and it freaked him out every time.

  what a wonderful place to stay with your pet. The staff were super friendly and our dog was greeted with a biscuit on arrival. great pet area to the side of the building. Highly recommend if you are traveling with a dog.

  This is the best dog friendly hotel we have stayed in. Beautiful comfortable pet friendly lobby, rooms have backfires to dog exercise area, rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable, and clean. Staff are very welcoming to furry kids and us!

  We liked that this place was on the edge of town. It was quiet after the rodeo ended. We did not get treats for our 2 dogs, but not a reason to dislike. The room was clean and very comfortable. There is a nice little private patio outside the room with 2 chairs and a little table. Breakfast was typical
