Apple Island Resort Pet Policy Dogs are allowed at Apple Island Resort, but they must be kept on a leash when outside your vehicle. No more than 2 dogs are allowed per campsite. Pets may not be left unattended. Dog breeds or mixed breeds commonly known to be of an aggressive nature (including, but not limited to, Pit Bulls, Chows, Rottweilers, Siberian Huskies, Shar Peis, German Shephards, & Doberman Pinschers) are not allowed. Resort Management reserves the right to determine the acceptability of any pet. Pet owners must pick up after pets and properly dispose of their waste in the dumpster in the trash area. Moose River Campground Pet Policy Moose River Campground allows pets for no additional fee. However, if you are caught not picking up after your dog, you will be fined $25. If you see anyone not picking up after their dog, you will get that $25. Pets need to be on a leash at all times to and from your car/RV and cannot be left unattended. Excessive barking is not acceptable, and leashes cannot to exceed 8 feet. Please do not tie pets to trees.
