Dog Didn’t Want To Be In Picture This Place Is So Bad

This photo was taken at Great Lakes Inn & Suites in South Haven, MI. I’m Not a hater and don’t ever write reviews but NO ONE should ever stay there With or without a dog.
We were stuck there because our car died and it was next to the repair shop. They put us in a room and it was full of pot smoke from the adjoining room. Really scary people came out to check us out probably to see if we were the police. Went back and nicely asked for a different room and moved all our stuff down to another room. It didn’t smell but the one bed sheet was filthy and I asked for a new sheet. He would not give us one and Said he only had a few rooms left and needed the sheets in case someone else wanted a room. It was midnight and we couldn’t use one of the beds we needed for the night. I asked if he could give us a discount since we were short a bed and he told me he was raising our rate from 60 to 70 because we had a dog. No sign of customer service or compassion anywhere to be found. the towels were rags with strings hanging off of them and the shower was dirty and the hairdryer didn’t get hot enough to dry my very thin hair. He knew we were stuck and took advantage but the real reason I’m writing this is because between the noises broken heater and my husband waking up all night watching the door I don’t want anyone looking at THEIR description and being misled. This is an unwelcoming broken down and unsafe feeling place.
