Located at 1 Lagoon Road in Portsmouth’s scenic East Passage Yachting Center, the Gulf Stream Bar & Grille’s dog-friendly patio and tiki bar is a destination for locals, tourists and boaters alike that want to enjoy delicious cuisine and drinks with their dogs outside. Now, guests have the opportunity to treat their pups to their very own gourmet meal.

What’s better than sharing a burger and a beer with your best friend? A featured menu item is the “Best Buddy Burger,” an all-beef patty served without the bun and with the option of adding cheese or bacon, which pairs perfectly with Beer Paws’ non-alcoholic craft beer for dogs. Another offering is a birthday "pup"cake for guests that want to celebrate their dog’s special day in a special way.

The restaurant has partnered with WOOF! WOOF! Pet Boutique and Biscuit Bar, which has two locations in Bristol, RI and New Bedford, MA, to offer healthy treats, such as cookies, peanut butter “pup”overs, dognoli cannolis and ice cream pup cups, that are all locally-made, using the highest quality ingredients.

“As dog lovers, we wanted to offer our numerous four-legged customers their own healthy meal. As far as we know, there’s no other Portsmouth area restaurant that has a menu especially for dogs,” said owners Chef Michael “Sully” Sullivan, Reada Evans and Joe Murphy. “Our very own Honey, an 11-year old lab adopted from Save A Lab Rescue, gave the menu a paws up and is excited to welcome her furry friends to the patio where all can enjoy our stunning water and sunset views.”

The Gulf Stream Bar and Grille’s Doggie Menu is offered on the patio daily from 11 a.m. to 9:00 pm, weather dependent.
