We love the beach. Bella can run and dig in the sand all day and we sit and watch the sunset, wrapped in a blanket. This was the first time she got in the water, after doctors told me she had ALS and would be crippled by now. Watching her soar through the water, besting the odds in our happy place, brought me and her more joy than any riches the world.
