Zoey, our special girl!

We have 2 special needs dogs. Sassy is an 11 year old blind miniature pinscher, with a collapsed trachea & an enlarged heart, that we rescued 2 years ago & Zoey is our new rescue! Zoey is a 1 year old mini pin/jrt mix, that we rescued 3 months ago! She has issues from abuse, like severe separation anxiety, hand shy, developmentally delayed & very clingy to us! Zoey considers Sassy, as her mom & Mama Sassy is teaching her how to be a dog! Sassy's name fits her well! I did special needs & senior animal rescue for 25 years& I keep saying that I'm retired, but they seem to keep finding me, but then again who rescued who? Special needs/senior animals are truly special!
