Angie enjoying the pond

This photo was taken at Bark Central Dog Park in Inverness, FL. Great spot for your larger dogs. The day we were there was very hot so it was only us and a little catahoula mix pup. He was running and biting at the aerator in the man made pond. They check your shot records and then keep your info on file. There is an area for small dogs but we didn’t venture over there. It is very rustic and reminds me of a little farm out in the middle of the Florida scrub. I am going to wait til it cools off a bit before going again due to the heat and bugs.
Our girl is a rescue and has only been with us a few months so she was being very cautious.
If you are looking for a well manicured, pristine spot, this isn’t for you but for our intrepid explorer, we will be back when there is a lesser danger of snakes in the brush. The pond had some algae that day that they said was caused from so much rain. They don’t use chemicals so they rely on the aeration system and nature to clean it. The other person there assured us it is usually clean and clear.
