Maddie & Archie at Peaks of Otter

Maddie & Archie enjoyed all kinds of hikes at the Peaks of Otter off Blue Ridge Parkway in Bedford, VA. This trail was an easy 1-mile loop around Abbott Lake, but other, more challenging trails go up to each of the three Peaks of Otter surrounding the lake. Leashed and well-behaved doggies are welcome and comfortable in the dog-friendly rooms. Lovely stay with happy babies! Dogs also welcome at the Peaks of Otter Winery close by. Great trip!
