This photo was taken at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area in Golden Pond, KY. This a a 3.5 mile loop that you drive thru to watch the bison & elk. the dogs loved it - I did have to roll the windows up to keep them from jumping out because they were so excited. There are tons of dog friendly things to do in this area - lots of trails. Stop and the visitor center and they will give you a map of all the places they can go.
