Toby hiking New River Gorge Endless Trail sitting on Diamond Point

This photo was taken in Fayetteville, WV. I was supposed to foster a little white dog that Boone County “BARC” Rescue picked up from an abandoned building. Toby was so sweet and fit right in with my pack that I was a foster fail and BARC was kind enough to let me adopt him.

We discovered he loved to hike and have taken him on many of West Virginia’s beautiful hiking trails. So far, he’s hiked an average of 4 miles per hike and still full of energy, pulling me along. The Cathedral Cafe in Fayetteville is a great place to bring your dog. Great food with nice balcony and outdoor area. Haven’t had an overnight yet, but we will soon.
