Royal Walk

This photo was taken at Royal Walk in Wengen, CH. You can take the cable car in Wengen up to the best hikes of a lifetime with your dog. Ride the cable car up to Männlichen from Wengen. There’s a short 1km 20min uphill Royal Walk for amazing views. Then hang out at the alpine playground with giant cow etc and have a drink at the restaurant. Then follow easy-to-follow walking signs to Kleine Scheidegg (1.5 hrs). Absolutely stunning, trail of a lifetime with your dog, and not hard at all. Breathtaking! You are descending with Eiger northface, Monch, and Jungfrau in front of you. Then take train with your dog back to Wengen or down to Lauterbrunnen train station (route from Kleine Scheidegg not covered by Swiss Travel Pass so pay at the station). It IS included after Wengen going down to Lauterbrunnen. You can also take the cable car from Wengen up to Männlichen then the cable car down to Grindlewald with your dog. You can take a bus with your dog to Pfingstegg toboggan and Flyer- great restaurant deck with a gorgeous view. We then hiked down 1 hr to Grindelwald, walked around, lots of shops and all pet friendly. Note that we had a dog backpack for our 7lb Morkie when needed. Ate at Da Sinas Grütschalp to Murren.
