“A magical sanctuary for me and my dog!”

This photo was taken at Kokoro Mio Hotel & Wellnes in Ucum, MX. I recently spent a few days at Kokoro Mío with my golden retriever, and it was truly one of the most unforgettable trips of our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not just as guests but as family — and that included my dog.

The property is breathtaking, surrounded by lush jungle and facing the crystal-clear Seven Colors Lagoon. Every corner feels like a hidden paradise, designed with love and respect for nature. What made it even more special was how my dog was treated — not simply tolerated as in other hotels, but celebrated. He received a little welcome kit, had plenty of space to explore, and even joined me on a sunrise walk by the water.

The staff were warm, caring, and always made sure both of us were comfortable. The bamboo cabins are stunning, elevated among the trees, and waking up to birdsong while cuddling my dog was pure magic.
