Astro the Dog @ Mead tasting, Savannah Bee Co.

This photo was taken at Savannah Bee Company in Savannah, GA. Astro enjoyed people-watching out the glass storefront to the buzzing of River Street (even lured some people inside to pet him) while we treated ourselves to an alcoholic tasting bar of meads, which are made with fermented honey and water (taste 6 for $10 February 2018). My favorite was Evil Twins by St. Ambrose Cellars, a cherry and ginger-based draft mead that combines the zing of ginger with the nostalgic comfort of an autumn cider...and of course, honey!
