Dr. J. Travis Martin, DVM is a general practitioner that started his career receiving his undergraduate degree in Microbiology at Auburn University. He then received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. After graduation he continued his education completing an internship in small animal medicine and surgery from Shoreline Referral Animal Hospital in Shelton, Connecticut. With his love of the great outdoor, food and craft brewing, he convinced his wife to move to the Pacific Northwest where he practiced as an emergency and intensive care clinician for several years. He discovered during this time that his passion for client interaction and a wider range of surgical and medical techniques was more applicable in general practice. He has spent the last two years in general practice before deciding to open his own practice. He currently resides in Tacoma, Washington with his beautiful wife, who is a veterinary technician, son, and four in-house patients he calls his canine companions.
