    Breed Discrimination at its WORST

Rating as one star because zero isn't an option. Clearly, breed discrimination is company policy at Camp Don't Know Much About Dog Behavior. If you have an 8 lb yipper, this is the place for you, but if you have an 80 lbs bully breed who barks like a big dog, you should consider somewhere else. I was aggressively lunged at, barking with teeth bared by a "camper" waiting for an evaluation in the reception area. How that animal was not immediately asked to leave and was even considered for an eval is beyond comprehension.

    Happy and safge

We have used other Camp Bow Wows in Louisiana as a place where our dog can be happy and safe while we were being tourists but everything started here in Colonie. If we weren't extremely happy and satisfied that our dog was cared for properly we would have never traveled such a distance with him. It is worth noting that the Camp Bow Wows in La. were also very friendly and competent. We have only used them for daycare but are considering leaving our dog overnight a couple days this summer. Must admit that this is a big step for us but feel confident our 15 year old family member will be in good hands. I'm certain he will be fine but not so sure about Mom and Dad....Also worth noting is there is an older dog program in which he can rest a bit more often than the younger dogs who recharge a little faster.
