Dog Dude Ranch of Miami

Our dog, my husband and I, absolutely love this place! Lots of space, very well managed, clean and very helpful staff. They definitely know what they’re doing. Whenever we pick up our dog from Dog Dude Ranch, she is always happy and we love to see that.
Also, Priscilla is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet and you can see how much she loves dogs, she takes care of them as if they were her own, that’s priceless.
I highly recommend this place!

She gets so excited when it is time to go to Dog Dude Ranch! And when it is time to come home, she literally rolls over because she wants to stay. I love having a place I can leave her where I know she is having fun, playing with friends and being pampered!

My wife and I scoured Miami for a day care that we could trust with our sweet Ruby, a 3 year old Maltese. My wife sees Ruby as her baby and is reluctant to trust anyone with her, but that's a discussion for another time.
I decided to write this review because Dog Dude Ranch is a godsend and provides the peace of mind and has earned the trust that we couldn't seem to find anywhere. I have come to appreciate the importance of socialization for dogs, and can always tell when Ruby has been at The Ranch because she's super happy and tired from playing with the other pups all day.
If you feel bad about leaving your dog at home by itself for extended periods of time throughout the week, you should give Dog Dude Ranch a shot. Priscilla is great and knows how to manage expectations and I appreciate how she communicates with my wife about our baby girl.

WORST PLACE & CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
For those pet owners like myself who are looking for a home-away-from-home for your fury four-legged family member(s), the Dog Dude Ranch of Miami IS NOT the place to go to!!!
I called on Monday (8/4/14) and spoke with Stephanie; of course, she only had great things to say about their ranch…she scheduled my lovely Weimaraner and I for a “doggy interview” today (8/8/14) at 1pm and also reserved the spot for his stay from Saturday-Sunday.
But since I’m such an organized person, I called at 9:30am to confirm my appointment and see if there was a chance that I could change it to 1:30pm instead of 1pm. Bella was the one that answered and she told me that they couldn’t change the appointment time. When I told her I would be going at 1pm then and then tomorrow morning to drop him off, she told me that they were booked already for the weekend! Of course, furious, I told her that I wanted to speak to the owner because I had planned my trip already with this in mind and that with such short notice, it would be hard to find another place that would accept my dog. Imagine if I wouldn’t have called and would have shown up at my scheduled appointment time…
When Priscilla got on the phone, she said they didn’t have space and when I explained to her that I had booked it since Monday with Stephanie, she hung up. I called again and asked her if that was how she treated her clients, by hanging up, and against my odds, she hung up again. I called a third and fourth time and she declined the calls- didn’t even have the guts to answer the phone and resolve! One tip Priscilla, CUSTOMER SERVICE and CLIENT SATISFACTION, two things that you definitely weren’t taught!
Now I’m thinking, would you really TRUST someone who doesn’t even have the courtesy to face the mistakes that her company and employees made and would rather hang up the phone? I know I wouldn’t, specially after the fact that my trip is planned and my plane leaves tomorrow and I wasn’t even offered an alternative place where I could leave him…I’m left to cancel my weekend plans because of the
“mistake” as they call it of the Dog Dude Ranch of Miami. This is just unacceptable for me and I hope that people who choose to leave their dogs in their hands read this. Being the pet lover that I am, I promise that I will never leave my dog there!
