  NOT CAGE FREE as advertised

  DOG OWNERS BEWARE!!!! They advertise they pride themselves in being a cage free grooming facilities, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! My Dog is an abused rescue that avoid cages at all costs due to past trauma. He has been to plenty of groomers in the past with no issues.
  We picked this groomer specifically for the NO CAGES they advertise. We get a call a few hours later, that my dog had been placed in a cage and got so anxious he destroyed it and obtained a puncture on his back leg due to the cage being destroyed.
  My initial reaction is why on Earth is he in a cage when we specifically picked this groomers for not placing my dog in a cage?!
  The owner is extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! Got charged for the full amount of service with an injured dog, and then she had the nerve to state I am upset because my dog got a "Little Boo-Boo" -her exact words after telling her she needs to remove her "cage free" advertisements. She also went into stating that my dog is "out of control" and a "mad dog" after she was becoming upset when I kept questioning her about her "cage free" advertisement. Yet he was "great and wonderful on the ground" - exact words again and this was not his first time there and his initial visit went well. Owner had the nerve to turn everything back on us as to why we didn't say he wasn't good in cages- Why should we when 1) you don't ask and 2) you pride yourself in a cage free salon (do you tell a waiter you don't eat cheese at a Vegan restaurant?). She went on to saying we have to disclose all their issues, although NONE are ever asked. Most groomers/ sitters ask questions about their temperament, past issues, etc, this place didn't ask at all. Clearly she is not up to date on dog facilities and their questionnaires. Again, why should I say my dog hates cages when they advertise they are cage free? The OWNER IS AWFUL and unprofessional. Took no responsibility and even apologized for stuffing my dog in a cage, him reacting and then hurting himself, nor offer to cover any medical costs, since according to her his PUNCTURE is a "little Boo-boo".
