Our Guardians Project

Jacqueline is a Philadelphia based artist with a passion for animals, especially dogs. This past year her childhood pet and best friend Theodore was diagnosed with Soft Tissue Sarcoma, a type of cancer common amongst Labrador Retrievers. Her personal practice never revolved around animals nor painting in general, but she found herself wanting to spend time with Theodore and attempting to give back, using his and other dog photographs as pictorial references for creating pieces of art. Jacqueline is currently taking commissions for custom pet portraits of all breeds and personalities. Each portrait measures approximately 18x18” unframed and every portrait sold gives a $25 donation to The National Canine Cancer Foundation. Jacqueline understands the connection we have with our animals and by giving a donation back to the NCCF she hopes to aid in helping eliminating canine cancer all together by funding research and development to halt this terrible disease. She believes these animals are more than just pets, they are our angels, companions, wardens, and Our Guardians. Visit Website
