  My name is Jana, and we were a client of Canine Solutions up until Covid. Right before Covid, Valerie had me prepay for lessons (which she always requires you to do). She asked for $300 to train one of my dogs to be an emotional support dog. Months after Covid I asked for my money back. Valerie told me she didn’t know if the company was going to survive and could not refund my money then, but she would have her accountant look at the books and get back to me. I understand how Covid affected businesses and was understanding. So, I let 2 years pass and recently asked for my money back again. I showed her the screen shots of the transaction I made in Venmo. Unfortunately, she won’t respond to my texts and kept our money. I was hoping Valerie would do the right thing, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. In addition to stealing our money, during the last month of training, she was late for every appointment (if she didn’t cancel last minute), but we still had to pay full price. I think Valerie is a great trainer. But unfortunately she is unethical and unreliable.

  Best Board and Train in Dallas

  After we got my sweet Goldendoodle Puppy we realized pretty quickly we needed some help with his potty training! He was having an accident every 15 minutes on my Persian Rugs. This was horrific. I took him to my veterinarian to see if something was wrong with him. Surely puppies don’t need to go out every 15 minutes!?!
  My veterinarian gave me Valerie’s number. I spoke with her amazing business partner Keisha for about 45 minutes about my dilemma. Keisha is an amazing counselor!!! She was able to rest my nerves and gave me tips to manage my puppy until we started our program. Keisha is actually a licensed counselor I found out from her later on after a few more conversations together.

  Nicco started his 2 week board and train with Valerie and Keisha that weekend. I was updated regularly with pictures on how he was doing. I missed him like crazy and seriously thought about going to get him. But I didn’t! I had to let him finish school! I AM SO GLAD I DID!
  After Nicco came home he was a different dog. So polite and would ring the bell to go outside.

  I did receive 1 courtesy follow up appointment at my home with Valerie and I paid for and additional 3 more so I could be fully educated on how to work with Nicco going forward!

  I highly recommend Canine Solutions Dallas! I’m so glad I met them. My Nicco is amazing because of them! Thank you Valerie and Keisha!
