    Never Again!

I will never get my dogs groomed here again! First of all— they both had some matting and the groomers corresponded through text asking for permission to shave their butts and underbellies— fine. They came back completely shaved, to the point where I can see patchy skin and toes! Second- this place is highway robbery. They told us on the phone that the dogs require flu vaccines and fecal tests and we asked for quotes and the woman gave a rough estimate but omitted all of the doctor fees, the lab fee, they even required an “exam” by this locations vet as it is allegedly protocol with the vaccine despite having just had their annual physicals at their own vet. A $200 grooming turned into $600!! We asked if they can adjust some of the bill for the information that was never relayed to us- nope. To say I’m irate is an understatement. My poor dogs will be wearing sweaters in the house now.

Don't be fooled by the smiles and show

I spent well over 70000 at this establishment over a 3 year period. Tests were repeated, which didn't need to be, and the overabundance of vaccines resulted in my dog getting both bortedella and kennel cough. Not even a sympathy card from them when Midnight passed. That can't even compare to the experience with the trainer. This woman took thousands in packages for the new puppy. At first, things were good, but as time went on, my dog became fearful and aggressive. Their answer was always more training (even though her methods clearly were not working and were outdated according to the Association of Trainers). I know there have been other complaints about this. To make a long story short, this woman deliberately told us that when introducing a new dog that the new dog goes in first. This resulted in a hospital visit for both my roommate and dog. It also resulted in a dog not getting a home and the trainer pressuring my roommate to report the rescue and have the dog put down.
She also pressured us to take our dog out of daycare and have her train her at the house. When my roommate explained we needed daycare that week due to home renovations, her response was, "What does that have to do with your dog being alive or dead?" She then grabbed the dogs (prong) collar and yelled for her to cut it out (the dog was exhibiting fear and the next day was diagnosed with an ear infection by a different vet.) This happened in the lobby in front of other staff. Two weeks away from this woman and our dog was fine. Introduced a new dog with our new trainer. They are thick as thieves. I have seen other reviews about this establishment not being fear free with their methods. I have to agree. This place has proven time and time again to be a money grab!

    DO NOT GO HERE

They do not care about your dog. Compare the reviews on Google to the ones on yelp. They are spiteful and vindictive. They will cancel your appointment and refuse service if you complain or question them. This is evident in the responses to negative reviews. They have a reputation for not only overcharging and double charging but also giving unneeded services. If this wasn't enough the reputation they have as far as dogs coming home sick, hurt, traumatized or pregnant from the daycare/hotel is inexcusable. Read the Yelp reviews for honest feedback of this business.

The absolute Best Vet, Best Pet Hotel

There is not a better animal hospital and pet hotel in the world! My 3 dogs and 2 cats Paddle, Pippa, and Lucy, and Framk and Wills receive top-notch care! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff's genuine love for animals was evident, making us feel confident that our furry friends were in the best hands.

The veterinary care provided at this hospital is exceptional. The knowledgeable veterinarians took the time to thoroughly assess our dogs' health and answered all of our questions with patience and expertise. Their commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine gave us peace of mind, knowing that our pups were receiving the best possible care.

The facilities at the hospital are impressive. The clean and modern environment creates a soothing atmosphere, making both humans and pets feel at ease. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, allowing for accurate diagnoses and efficient treatments. It's evident that the well-being and comfort of the animals are prioritized throughout every aspect of their stay.

Now, let's talk about the hotel! The boarding services provided are nothing short of outstanding. Our dogs, Paddle, Pippa, and Lucy, always return from their stays looking happy and well-cared-for. Our cats- have a quiet and luxurious stress free suite! The spacious and comfortable accommodations exceeded our expectations. The staff members are attentive and genuinely love spending time with the pets, which made us feel at ease during our time away.

What sets this veterinary hospital and hotel apart is the extra attention to detail and personalized care. They took the time to understand each of our dogs' unique needs, preferences, and quirks. Whether it was dietary requirements or special playtime activities, they ensured that Paddle, Pippa, and Lucy felt right at home during their stay.

Overall, we couldn't be happier with the veterinary hospital and hotel. The staff's dedication to providing exceptional care, the top-notch facilities, and the personalized attention given to our dogs have made it our go-to place for all our pets' needs. We highly recommend it to any pet owner seeking a compassionate and reliable environment for their furry family members.

Terrible - DO NOT GO HERE!

We brought in our puppy for an initial check up and vaccine appointment. An hour later, he was vomiting uncontrollably and his face and eyes were extremely swollen from an allergic reaction. We brought him back, and after putting him on an IV and treating him with antihistamines, the vet technician told us we should have opted to give our dog benadryl before the vaccines. This was NOT communicated to us by the vet. When the vet came back into the room, we mentioned this to him, and he said that he's new and at his old practice they never administered benadryl, which is why he didn't recommend it to us. It was disturbing that the vet wasn't trained in Spot On's practices and that there was such a serious discrepancy, and as a result our dog was extremely ill.

We then asked to speak with the director of the hospital, but numerous employees claimed she was in a meeting and was too busy, even though we were waiting there for over 2 hours while our dog was being treated. Finally we spoke with a Spot On employee who submitted our claim to the vaccine company for reimbursement. She assured us that we would be reimbursed for the vaccines and the allergic reaction treatment.

Over the course of more than a month, we called repeatedly to find out about the status of our reimbursement and requesting to speak with the director, who never returned our calls. When we finally received our reimbursement check 6 weeks later (only because we kept calling) it covered the treatment but not the vaccines themselves (that caused the reaction in the first place)! Several phone calls later, repeating our story, we were unequivocally denied reimbursement.

After experiencing such a traumatic situation with our new puppy, all we needed was for Spot On to apologize and to communicate with us in a timely and respectful manner. Instead, they ignored our calls, handed off our requests to countless low-level employees, and put the blame on US for our dog’s reaction. THEY failed to standardize practices and communicate that to us. We as parents rely on vets to give us information, to communicate how best to treat our beloved pets—THEY are supposed to be the experts!

The vets at Spot On are not only negligent, they are NOT knowledgable. Outside of the vaccine incident, we called the vet about our puppy’s routine parasite diagnosis and the vet couldn’t remember what he had previously prescribed and gave us information that conflicted with his initial advice. The people here take no responsibility and we spent cumulative HOURS on hold only to get insufficient information over the phone. If you love your pet, DO NOT GO TO SPOT ON. All they care about is money, and the only thing they are good at is evading and deflecting.
