    NOOOO!

I was so sad when I picked up my dog from the groomers! she was shaved down to the skin! I was so sad because she looked hideous! (no offense) I do not recommend going here. The prices for the toys and stuff are higher than petsmart which I like better

I had a wonderful experience at this store. The team was very knowledgeable and helpful. The manager Chris helped me to find all the items I needed for my new puppy and was extremely nice. She walked me to the register and even helped me to my car. I live closer to another petco but would come back to this store because the staff is so friendly.

Horrible!!! Law suit waiting to happen.

After observing the groomers while checking in, I almost didn't leave my dogs (my husband convinced me it would be okay, but I shouldn't have given in.) One groomer badly quicked a bassett hound while trimming its nails and it was bleeding all over the place. Another groomer put an oversize muzzle/blindfold thing on a tiny little toy dog while the dog was restrained by a neck collar -- the little dog struggled and fell off the table and was hanging by its neck, feet flailing! My labrador got loose from the kennel area before we were out of the door and went running around the store. She ended up with a raging ear infection from the "ear cleaning." I have had her for 7 years and she has NEVER gotten an ear infection, but 24 hours after the grooming her ear was swollen and oozing pus. It has so far cost me $387 in vet bills. I only went to Petco for grooming once and I will never go back there again. It was dirty and the people were clearly inexperienced in both grooming and handling dogs. Shame on Petco!! It's a law suit waiting to happen, either from someone's dog biting a groomer, or one of the incompetent groomer injuring or killing a dog.

    BEWARE!

    BEWARE!!? - ? - Today
If you love your pet, don't EVER let these people groom them! Against my better judgement after dealing with the angry and very bureaucratic African-American woman b/c I didn't have my life-threatening PALS #, I took my yorkie there and asked for a teddy-bear cut.. I returned later, and to my horror, they'd SHAVED him! I immediately complained and the manager on duty refunded $40 of my $91 bill. He said that's all he could do, and advised me that if I wanted a complete refund, I had to call the grooming manager, Donna. I called her a few times, and left several messages to no avail. She never called me back. Finally, 4 days later, I called again and got her on the phone. She claimed that my dog's hair was matted and they HAD to shave him! Ok, let me get this straight. My dog sleeps with me and is an indoor dog and has NEVER been mattes.Furthermore, she wasn't there when my dog was there. How would she know that? Is she psychic?. I asked to speak w/the manager, so she put me on hold. I finally hung up. The following day, I called and spoke with the manager, Chris. She explained that she could not give me a refund. BEWARE - You'll end up paying well above market rates, get the run-around, and when you don't get what you asked for they will not respond to your concerns.

    Won't go back

Walking in I saw a sign up that read "groomers wanted," which should have tipped me off. They shaved my dog far closer than the photo I brought in. They left two quarter-sized wounds on her from it. They trimmed her face hair lopsided so she looks like she has a large swelling on her left cheek. And she wound up smelling like mothballs. The place was also fairly dirty.

There's a reason they make you pay before you see your dog. Unfortunately the grooming service that was recommended to us (Waggin Tails) never returned our calls, so we went here. If this is all we have in the area, I'd be better off doing it myself from now on.

Groomers gave my dog to the wrong family

If I could rate this store less than "poor", I would. We walked in to pick up our dog from the groomers and they brought out the wrong dog. They had given my dog to the wrong family a little while earlier. The situation was resolved and the woman brought our dog back to the store and picked up her dog, but I couldn't be paid enough to ever walk into that store again.
