I wouldn’t leave my dog there overnight!

I’m not sure why this place has such good reviews because my dog hasn’t been the same since he boarded there for three days. First off, you need to be psychic to know all the rules of this place. Upon arrival no one even took 30 seconds to explain anything. It would have been nice to know how my dog would have been taken care of on his stay but the owner said I was a few minutes late and that’s why I didn’t get any information (I didn’t realize they closed at 9am on Sunday because that’s kinda an odd schedule). Also, we had to reach out to them for updates and pictures. On the day of pick up my dog was disgusting. I understand they get dirty playing but online I requested an exit bath and now I’m being told I had to call and tell them. Now that he is home he will not go outside to even use the bathroom and isn’t eating or interacting with us. I figure he would be a little tired from playing but he’s been home for three days and still no energy and his legs shake when he walks. Also, he has a large gash on his throat which the owner says is a hot spot. The communication and professionalism of this place needs some work. It would have been nice for someone to point out that spot to me instead of me finding it once I got home (it’s pretty large). This place is probably amazing for day play but it scares me to think what condition my dog would be in if I had left him for four days. Clearly they are not paying that close attention to the pets that are boarded. Anyways, the owner informed me she would reply to this so I guess I will get to hear her excuses again for poor communication, poor supervision, and lack of empathy for my 2 year old Golden Retriever.

Our baby Jason loved playing here while we went to the beach. He literally ran to the door to play. I felt great about leaving him here when we were on our vacation. The staff were really friendly and sweet to our pup and when we picked him up he was always pretty clean. We will be back next year.
