DR PEPPER CAUSED MY DOG TO SUFFER AND DIE

DR PEPPER CAUSED MY DOG TO SUFFER AND DIE.
I took my dog in for nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, poor appetite, weight loss and lumps in his abdomen about 5 times between 7/30/21-9/05/21. DR PULLIAM told me after radiology and blood work everything was normal except he had slight narrowing in his spine. We then started medications and treatment for IVDD. I came in for a recheck because he was not improving and I was told that these were just simply symptoms of IVDD (NOT TRUE). So I came in to see a different vet, DR PEPPER. She told me to stop the medication and lets treat his diarrhea first. Diarrhea improved, but my dog still wasn't eating, had low energy, dehydration and I brought him in for another recheck and asked her specifically to take a look at his abdomen because I felt lumps. DR PEPPER told me everything looks fine and that he's stable. She suggested an ultrasound on 9/5/21 but not to be done by them, I was going to need to go to a specialty center and that specialty center was booked until Jan 2022. I called back and asked why they couldn't just do the ultrasound and I was told they weren't board certified and it would be better I go to a specialist. So I went to Durango Animal Hospital and saw the most compassionate, competent, and trustworthy vet on 9/10/21. She immediately noticed the lumps in his abdomen and did an ultrasound right there in office and notified me of a MASSIVE tumor that had taken up the entire abdomen of my dog. The very next day my dog passed away due to complications from the mass. When I requested medical records and Dr notes I seen that DR PEPPER noted in her reports of a 5 cm MASS on 8/8/21 and NEVER INFORMED ME ABOUT IT. She had me stressing, crying, panicking for a month because she couldn't tell me what was wrong with my dog. SHE LIED in her reports and stated that she informed me about the mass and that I declined treatment. When I found out about the false reporting, I immediately contact DR LESLIE STEWART who is the head DR. She told me unfortunately there's nothing I can do.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. I loved by boy with all my heart, he was the most amazing thing that ever came into my life. When he first started showing signs of declining health I brought him here because I trusted them. I was lied to, and because of that my dogs tumor kept growing more and more with each recheck that they just brushed him off as stable. I truly believe my dog would still be here today had they immediately informed me of their findings. Instead they just let him suffer and die when we could have taken him into surgery to have the mass removed.
