Compassionate Canine Massage
Amanda Miller of Compassionate Canine Massage received education and certification as a Small Animal Massage Practitioner from the Northwest School of Animal Massage in Washington State. She works by appointment in a space within AK Bark reserved for the purpose. The primary goal of canine massage is to reduce muscle tension, which complements regular veterinary care. Benefits include decreased recovery time between activities, lengthened muscle fibers and diminished chance of Overuse Syndrome, and an enhanced immune system from stimulation of the lymphatic system.
