    Grooming Dept

I use to be a customer until one morning I lost my cool watching a Groomer upsetting a poor little Maltese ,,she was pulling on that little helpless baby that it was actually whinny and crying! I lost it and went off on her and told her she was hurting it ! I was in line ready to handoff my two poodles to get groomed but walked out door and reported that Digusting women to the Petsmart Manager and the called Head quarters on that store! The store and sales people are great but after seeing how they all didn't correct that Groomer and didn't help the dog ,,, I haven't sent my poodles to any pet smart or petco ,I now groom and trim them myself!

    KENNEL COUGH - DAYCAMP

My 2 goldendoodles have gone to camp for almost 3 years. They are groomed by a wonder lady in the salon also. The last trip to day camp on 3/14/13. On 3/22/13 one doodle developed a hacking cough. She was taken to the vet & the next day my other doodle developed the cough. On 3/25/13 I took all for of my dogs to the vet and they all have kennel cough. My dogs are vaccinated & Petsmart require proof that your dogs have been vaccinated. But per the Hotel Manger - a petparent boarded her dog from 3/17 - 3/14 with a cold. during that time the dog became sicker and they took to Banfield. The dog had kennel cough. Per the hotel manager - they had approx. 130 dogs boarded during that week. That means 130 dogs have been infected. Petsmart "never" called pet parents to warn what had happened and what to look for. NOPE. They have waited one by one for parents to call them. I have spoke to several people and the most recent manager - Dan was very smug about the whole ordeal. My dogs went in healthy & vaccinated ... now for weeks we have to give them medicine, clean up cough gag up and see them so sick. No employee from Petsmart is having to deal with this. No one called us to let us know. Petsmart will not pay vet bills. They have not even offered a free groom or camp sessions. Nothing. Just admitted that they let a sick dog into the hotel and your healthy dogs got sick.

I will not be using the camp any more. I love our groomer and do plan on continuing using her services. She is an excellent groomer. However I am highly concerned about my dogs being in that store.

Because Petsmart did not call the parents and let us know. My dogs came in contact with dogs over the next several days after grooming and they are now infected. Now there is a wide spread kennel cough in Memphis.

Petsmart Wolfchase ... the hotel /daycamp should send atleast a letter to every pet owner and warn them of this. I would not send my pets here.
