Doggystyle NYC

Winner of New York Magazine's "Best Non-Cutesy Pet Store" in 2007, Doggystyle is a New York City favorite. The magazine says "Look past the name to the selection: asymmetrical scratching posts that look like Frank Gehry might have had a hand in the design, dog bowls that wouldn’t embarrass on a human’s breakfast table, plus ergonomically correct feeders and easy-to-use, buckle-free harnesses. Two-dog owner Andy Schulman is so passionate about utilitarian design that she creates her own products, like 2Twelve messenger bags, which distributes a pet’s weight evenly for more comfortable transporting, and fleece-lined coats with reflective trim for safer nighttime walks."

I visit NYC several times a year & always make it a point to come here to pick something up for my pom Remy. The staff is friendly but not pushy like most pet boutiques can be. They are also knowledgeable about the products they carry. Grooming services are offered here but I have not had my dog groomed here. There is a wide selection from toys to treats to beds to carriers. Remy has been here once & everyone is just so friendly!! Highly recommend.
